Fav.--- Was during the New Orleans Bowl run and we had won and the students struggled to break down the upgright, then had trouble getting it out the stadium down the tunnel where the team came out of.. Worst- the delay between RV leaving and WB coming in... We would be much farther along if he had an entire summer to plan/review things before the season (I believe)

If you don't mind me asking... How much were the tickets? Was planning on buying tickets for SMU

No idea why you're getting down votes for the facts... While its disappointing that another project is delayed (Soccer/Track) and now this... Let us just hope that this a red-tape issues that will not become the normal.

They need to update the players from the different sports that would be part of the advisory committee.. Keena is gone, and so is Combs

Thanks you!

Where is a link to the website? And where is the full-read out of the Plan?

I mean when 24/7 does the ratings we see a 3* and then a rating.. That rating is influenced by Rivals right?
-
If it was from us fans email/tweeting at the AD office or then doing this themselves, I'm just glad they got out the information with a reason and explained it. +1 for the information, -1 for the delay... they shoulda had this stuff figured out when the voting was on going and had it go off without a delay

DRC: Projecting who will play among UNT's freshmen

Doesn't Rivals ratings factor into 24/7? If so, then I would think the ratings are skewed and I would expect that since they are appealing to paid fans

His injury from the photos of the post-surgery was not in the ankle area, it was on the side/top of the arc of your foot. Either he was tough enough or it wasn't hurting him because he was walking on it the evening he broke it.. The 6weeks is just what I was told but that wasn't directly from English.

Tony is one big dude.. I thought he was a skinnier guy on tape, but I saw him recently and he is built in the shape of English, just not up to the weight of English.. -
Not even sure he made it to training camp, sadly.. He was likely a Rookie Camp Punter and if he showed well then he woulda gotten an invite to training camp, size and leg strength probably hurt him with the possibility of kicking in NY as well

Fine > Quinn

Would have liked it over by the Wing, something that students can take photos with.. Yes outside the AD offices, it's still available to be seen and used.. just don't think many if any students get into the stadium that way since I'm getting down vote(s), normal non-ath will likely not see the sign since they are seating between gates 3 and 4..

Kind of disappointing things like these won't be completed for the first home game (even if its due to budgets, you think they could start it early then pay once new budget comes out) but hopefully things like this will be done and completed before the UAB game in week 4

Leblanc is now our 5th best player in the class and no longer a 3* (.7943) and Larry Nixon is now our #3 rated commit at .7965 with him ahead of Bean at .7958 http://northtexas.247sports.com/Season/2018-Football/Commits Also the OL from Houston, Brown went from the bottom of the class to into the middle.. A lot of the ratings for these guys just changed recently... with our class avg up to 78.82, with us now beating out 6 other programs

I was told he should miss 6 weeks, and he broke it on 8/9 with him having surgery on the 10th.. I think he could make it back for Iowa (if he needed too) but I would agree let get a pass on Iowa, no need to test it and get hurt even worse vs. a Big10 OL... I'd love for him to be unleashed on UTSA, could be a big turning point for us if we dominate that game.
-
Well it was somewhat like this last Thursday (8/24).. I'm assuming on Friday/Saturday they would be more than able to put any type of metal wiring to hold it together and then pour hopefully not long after.. I'm assuming most everyone won't really care if the ground doesn't look "pretty" if the walk-way is completed.

No idea but could it be that new budget year just started, and them having funds to spend now compared to a month or 2 go ago???
-
Has anyone emailed WB or tweeted at him about this?? I'm sure we can get a response on this.
-
Yes English had surgery on the foot the following day after he broke it. Was told the idea is for him to be back for UAB (2nd home game) and If that isn't possible it should be SM or UTSA at the latest. He had it checked out and said he would be walking soon, if he isn't already.

One thing to hope, is if they keep being this bad long enough.. then maybe at the end of the year the HC is fired (not hoping for that) and they are playing a lot of the younger guys (hopeful for this). Also, wonder how many of those recruits may reconsider rice

DRC: UNT's Lawrence earning reputation as "The Standard"
BTG_Fan1 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
He was a huge PWO to get.. I think he was going to go with a smaller school but picked UNT -
Hopefully Murray can step it up this year.. If he can lockdown a spot it should help everyone else on the OL.. Also, him having a solid year as well will draw in the attention from scouts that may come see McClain
