  1. Now we are questioning the Bean Commitment, really???? when he had multiple offers from schools like LAT, SMU, Colorado Stste, and 2 others (don't recall off the top of my head)... This makes no sense.. either we go by offer lists, ratings but pick one.. 3 weeks ago when he committed everyone praised the lord and now the sky is falling... freaking out over Bean is like people freaking out over the "gas-shortage", a waste of time..
  2. Good point, hadn't thought of that :/
  3. Send that into the staff, bet they can do something real quick for this and others as well
  4. Good karma in bound for us... And also, at least gets us out there with the UH kids as well
  5. English starts rehabbing today.. Stitches removed today
  6. Sept. 1, 2017 Dear UNT Community, I hope you are all planning to join me this Saturday for the Mean Green football season opener! I am so proud of the resilience of the Lamar football team and their determination to move on with life and play this weekend's game. We welcome them to our campus as our thoughts continue to be with our students and their families affected by Hurricane Harvey. I hope something as simple as this football game can help the Lamar fans and families as they begin to recover from the storm's devastation. This is our chance to honor and show appreciation for our faculty and staff and the hard work you do supporting and instructing our students. If you haven't claimed your game tickets yet, there is still time to do so. Call the Athletics ticket office at 940-565-2527 to get your two free tickets and to purchase additional tickets for $5 each. Read more about the faculty and staff appreciation game and activities. Thankfully, this game also provides many opportunities to help those who are in need because of Hurricane Harvey. A Carter Blood Care donation bus will be accepting blood donations from noon to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 2 (Saturday) outside the Murchison Performing Arts Center on North Texas Boulevard. All donors will receive a T-shirt and a voucher for two free tickets to the Oct. 14 Mean Green football game. All donations made at this drive will be used to meet the blood needs of patients in South Texas. If you park in the Fouts Field cash lot during the game Saturday, our Athletics department will donate your $10 parking fee to storm relief efforts. Opportunities to give to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army will exist throughout Apogee StadiumSaturday. While there are lots of ways that we can give to the rescue and recovery efforts, cash donations are the most helpful. Read about ways you can give. The Mean Green football equipment truck is taking part in a unified effort with other universities to collect supplies in Austin. Those items will then travel by convoy to Houston for storm survivors. Also, faculty and staff can contribute to the North Texas Emergency Fund that helps our students facing catastrophic circumstances make necessary purchases or cover required expenses. It was created through donations and UNT support and can be used for textbooks, travel expenses, supplies, personal items and more. I hope to see you at the game Saturday! Go Mean Green! UNT Proud, Neal Smatresk President
  7. Call them and find out what the problem is..
  8. Lamar buses are at Apogee
  9. Yes all that sucks, but it could have been much worse in terms of losing many many more lives.. my family down in HOU lost their house and cars, etc but they know it could have been worse.. Just know many other people have dealt with these before and it sucks.. I've deployed and my only "hot" meal was a MRE that wasn't really hot nor good for multiple days in a row.. been there having no running water, that they had to fly in bottles of water for us. Again not to making this what's sucked more contest but everyone has had moments of suck (some worse than others) but it will be fixed just not as quickly and everyone would like. Glad you (and the rest of the team) are now safe now and can have a few hot meals now. Welcome to Denton.
  10. It's a Vito article.. no list of names/position changes (from what I have gathered)
  11. Please do not give any of the dumb*** people who started this run on gas any ideas...
  12. Maybe he is that good, that it's just him?
  13. Wouldn't doubt it... Last year the team hotel was near Texas Motorspeed way, if anyone is out there look for some buses.
  14. You do realize, its a huge lot of land they would then have to treat, not saying ants are everywhere but to make it so everyone is able to enjoy it would take a lot of treatment, man power, and supplies.
  15. You would have to think, if UNT did put them up and everything... Then it likely would lead to some more alumni sending in a check... Matress Mac is getting alot of good coverage from his goodwill, would be nice for UNT to do it.. I'd like to beat whatever hotel they (lamar) is staying at is willing to go above and beyond for them most likely as well.
  16. how and where???
  17. The article says he is in a new spot... So he shifted from one position to another that is he likely better at
  18. They posted it on friday around noon (I believe) last year... If you have Fox Sports Go, they do reruns of it as well on there @BeyondTheGreen is there a preferred way to view it/ better way to view it to for it to be renewed sooner... I know it had been brought up on a past podcast.
  19. Shouldn't affect it... They have back up plans
  20. Awesome to see they are doing this...
  21. Very Nice! thanks for the heads up!
  22. Yep went by it today, it was filled in and finished.. should be good for gameday.
  23. No they are at Lafayette I believe or almost there
  24. I can't fix the thread, but figured this would be a good one.. the walk way from near where tony sets up his tailgate up to gate 4 has been paved. @Harry had posted a photo of where it would be poured, but couldn't find that thread.
