Agreed, but I don't like having CBs at PR... Jenks is a hell of a player, and thinks he can take it to the house every time... I'd like to see someone like Nic Smith, Johnson, Darden back there for PRs.. yes they are smaller but they are able to realize they will get the ball again later and won't force something... ---------------------- Also should we be worried about the Cramps/injuries? Also, I did like running out the DL starters late in the game..

Yes it's worrisome, but for the student section that was a good impressive win, even if they were still giving crap to Lamar, from the sideline I told some guy to shut his mouth because he kept giving crap to 1 player.. The question is, what does the alumni side do???

Yea Brooks and Wilson had cramps, and McClain hurt his hand I think(?), dont recall seeing what happened when he came off. The muffed punt was dumb, not just because he dropped it but because he tried to field it with a guy directly in his face.. I thought he didn't have a clear path to catch it.

SL and GH have been in contact with his coach, dear lord can we please making up excuses! He is likely to RS even if he played.. he will be behind Fine, Quinn, Izzy, Pearson and competing with Martin as well.. this logic/idea that he won't be ready is so dumb.. He had a great offer list, and now we are worried.. who knows why we haven't offered Chandler, could it be UNT and the staff likes The major donors Son/Grandson more and they are likely looking at QBs as well.. who knows we may not like Chandler because he is splitting Reps this year if he were to commit.

Do we know who is visiting? How often do kids we have committed already visit?

Lamar has only had 1 padded practice before today.. winning by 20,30,40 is still the same in the Win column.. we aren't trying to impress BCS voters... the only difference is at the end of the year our state will be inflated after playing a team that is struggling big time. 20-30 is good enough, and no need to crush Lamar.. yes it would be nice and great for the fans, but we need to remember all the crap these kids have been through (they left 5-6 kids back at Lamar, etc. That couldn't get back or some other reason.)

I just want us to move the ball and stop moving the ball.. I'd prefer something like a 35-7 game.. with the offense/defense handling business... No benefit to blowing out Lamar, not like it affect anything but the stats at the end of the year.

They (CSU, LaT) pulled them because they had other QBs commit.. Teams don't offer with the hope a kid doesn't commit to them.. we have no idea how ready he will or will not be, we all thought Fine would RS but he was playing in the 4th Quarter of the first game... The point everyone keep overlooking is this staff is young, and likely want to get onto bigger/better jobs (sorry but it's true).. they aren't like Mac who is here till he is told not to come back.. These Coaches aren't out here picking up kids who will never perform, they are trying to get the best.. this is hilarious less than a month ago, everyone was on a high from landing Bean (because of his list with what was and wasn't still current) and now some fans are acting as if he isn't even worthy of an offer (and likely some wouldn't want it pulled)...

People are freaking out, thinking Bean is hurt, not talented, etc... couldn't it just be both kids are talented and they want to get exposure to both kids.. one is gone after the year, and the other will be around for 1 more year.. they are likely playing both now before district games start later in the year.. what is this like week 1 or 2 of the HS season, let it be.. Bean is a fine QB and Vito said he got to play, who cares.. the kid had a great offer list and he can play.. if Bean were playing then yes it's worrisome but again SL, GH and others aren't mailing this stop in at UNT.. why do we have to keep thinking they are recruiting kids that won't perform? Hell, if we are comparing coaches and who has gotten guys to produce GH did better than Ek,Davis, Perry last year... EK didn't bring in any talent that is starting this year or next year likely, Davis OL managed but i don't recall any of his guys playing, and Perry I don't think even landed a recruit.. LeBlanc is the only one who improved his position group that left, with him bringing in English and Hambone... GH brought in Fine, Izzy, Pearson, and turned Quinn around as well.. to think these coaches are out recruiting non talented kids is dumb.. Bean will be fine, and so will Martin and everyone else.. I don't care if they split time or anything and we shouldn't either, hell Brammer was a TE/P and now he is potentially 1 snap away from being the starting RT.. the coaches should worry about it because likely if they can't get guys to produce at UNT, they won't be coaching in college football much longer but not us... our worry should be Lamar, then SMU, then Iowa, and so on..
