  1. Also, for the Alumni that are looking for what section the seats are in... Student section is 217, and $35 tickets are in section 118.. Picked up my tickets today and got the seat #s, etc...
  2. We have no idea what would happen... But I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it isn't something that UNT will try... I know the for a fact that they still had 1 suite open a week before school started... Also, I wouldn't say that its a bad sign.. WB said that the Season Tickets/MGC membership (as well, I believe) would be released soon after Aug. 31st... He had tweeted it out that the #s had improved as well.. Now we just have to hold him to his word about releasing the #s..
  3. We have to remember UAB was it's first game back after 3 years... the question is, can they keep it up?
  4. I wish we would/could keep this stuff a secret.. make SMU not aware of things like Wheeler/Rico etc
  5. They were testing it out and trying to get it fixed on Thursday night.. @AustinFromUNT was tweeting at WB and Peek about the issue and believe Mosley even got involved to help.. I believe they thought it would be done 1 way, but turns out students use multiple different logins which once they realized that it was fixed.
  6. Didn't Boomer break during the game? I noticed for a few scores no boomer..
  7. Every thing the first time is a pay in the butt.. just glad they figured it out and was able to get in all the students.. Also, should be easier now in the future. Also, agree about the ticket thing not being available earlier, but have you commented on it to the ticket office?
  8. If SL leaves, I'd take Sumlin coming here to replace him if he is fired.. but sumlin I heard is owed like 11M if fired...
  9. With the Mean Green on the side of the building?
  10. I was standing next to English in Q1 and didn't see Wheeler but I know he was up in the suite level later in the game. Even if he is injuries SL won't say what it is
  11. Thanks
  12. I want Fine getting the reward... LET IT FLY! Also, put up a solid D showing to impress. A. Gage who is committing on the 15th!
  13. Thats what I thought... Hope they continue coming after Fine and Pirtle are gone.... Also, the Trinity HS and Tyler JUCO OL brought a huge family to the game as well.
  14. Wasn't one of the kids in the in game promos from L. Grove?
  15. My bad, then I was saying Fake New about the Blackout vs UTSA.. Will fix my post now
  16. Who the hell cares if he #2, if he is playing that is all we should care about.. He has/had the skills to earn multiple D1 offers, which you have said (basically) is the measuring stick of a solid recruit...What QB on our current roster has a better offer list than Bean? Better yet, which recruit QB out of HS (that we have signed) has had an offer list as good or better? By your logical, all those programs that recruit and pick up back up players on programs like Desoto, Allen, Southlake in the past were wasting their time because these kids didn't start.. Hell games last year Pearson didn't even play the 2nd half.. did we say anything then, or even bring up the slightest worry in the world, nope because he took the 1st snap instead of the last snap.. Select people are nervous about Bean because of a random paragraph in a random article posted by Vito.... Worrying about Bean in HS is like this stupid/made up gas shortage... You are worrying about a kid who isn't even stepping in to a game for UNT this year, let alone the kid hasn't even signed with UNT yet (again so STUPID),..... You're pissing into the wind and its getting all over yourself with these pointless worries...
  17. I believe that is what the Promotion sch. says for UTSA, the blackout i mean...
  18. How many people usually show? Any types of deals on the meals? I think i saw something like 10 bucks and its all you can eat? Do students even come? Would think this would be a great way to get students up there (wish UNT/Rudy's can work out something with the meal plan) and a way to give out shirts/etc.
  19. The point im making is, if they are talented great.. But Dillman is talented and has played in how many games so far? Give me someone that can be reliable and able to play in the system, not someone who is going to be bounced around... Agreed Johnson earned himself a spot in the rotation, and maybe an even bigger spot than the staff had expected.. I know he likely topped everyone's combined belief in what we expected of him before the season even started... Excited about what Smith and Johnson did, and can only image what our backfield will look like when Siggers joins them.
  20. It's by where UNT runs out (I believe)
  21. The circle continues.. first we don't like a kids offer list... once The offer list is good and we are happy, then it's his ratings and why isn't he a 3*.. and then we find something else to complain about like his playing time, level of competition, etc... Evan johnson alone proved how wrong that logic is, and yes it was vs Lamar, but it's likely the most playing time he will get all year and the kid looked the part of a D1 RB... On here it's a continuation cycle of doubting the staff to fit into whatever people want to push. They get paid to do this, and we get paid to do whatever who do.. I don't see anyone questioning use to the degree of our ability our jobs.. We can keep doubting the staff but nearly every scholarship kid that has played that SL brought in has performed(or have been RSed).. The only ones who haven't have been Wyche and Peters off the top of my head.. Fine, Jenks, Muhammad, Hall, Hood, Morris, Hambone, among others with limited action (rico, mayfield, McDonald, Ej, Tyler Wilson) Have produced and play critical roles.. we can doubt them but they have added around 11 guys not counting STs that have come in and played certain roles and improved a guys like Murray, Barr, Smiley... Keep doubting the staff.. they already done more with a crappier roster than SMU and other schools that we seem to praise in recruiting..
  22. A UNT win is huge lift for this fan base I believe.. 1- it's smart they are already pushing the student tickets early in the week compared to the ticket bugs for game 1, and them pushing the tickets/ride down to UTSA last last year. 2- Alumni in Dallas should come see UNT, and getting a W would be big in terms of interest and put a damper on SMU.. Also SMU needs to get to a bowl game as well, us not being a W for them is challenging. Go out and win, and come back to Apogee with a winning record of 2-1 or 3-0 (if they beat Iowa, just dreaming). How many here predicted us being 2-1 (at worse coming back to Apogee for UAB).. the SMU W could be a big momentum builder in terms of fans starting to buy in, i wouldn't say it's a must win but it's a must win in terms of getting people to jump on the bandwagon now. w at SMU, and handle business vs UAB
  23. If we had Ivery, do we even think Johnson is playing? It's a crowded backfield with Wilson, Smith, Hosley, Tucker, Wyche, and either Johnson or Ivery
