QB Cade Pearson intends to transfer
Philip Ferguson replied to Greenrex's topic in Mean Green Football
https://247sports.com/college/north-texas/Article/Quarterback-Cade-Pearson-intends-to-transfer-out-of-North-Texas-Mean-Green-football-127977455/ Martin played well in the bowl game, completing 7 of 12 passes for 110 yards and one touchdown with no turnovers. The talk around fans was that he was first in line to be the backup next season and perhaps the heir to the program’s all-time leading passer in Fine, and if not him then Bean. All of that is to be determined, but Pearson perhaps felt a similar way, although nothing is confirmed. -
Building a Winner with Wren Baker
Philip Ferguson replied to Philip Ferguson's topic in Mean Green Football
I don't think Big 12 would happen. Our stadium is far too small, and the other regional schools wouldn't want another school in their backyard to recruit against. I would love it if it would happen, but probably never will... -

Building a Winner with Wren Baker

When he was talking about TV contracts, I got the feeling that he doesn't plan to being in CUSA long term... -

Conference USA West Stock Exchange by UDD

Yeah, I was surprised to see that, too. I think UAB will be 2019's version of the 2018 FAU team. High expectations but low execution. GMG -

We should not lose to ANY Texas team!

According to TeamRankings.com, things looks pretty good going forward. The final 3 games might prove to be a difficult stretch. Worst case scenario is 21-6 before Bonus Play and the Conference Championship.

https://winnersandwhiners.com/games/ncaab/1-12-2019/north-texas-vs-utsa-prediction-1064/ North Texas is on a roll right now and they have a ton of weapons to work with on the offensive end of the floor. The Mean Green is tremendous on the defensive end of the floor as they are a top 20 program in scoring defense this season. While UTSA is putting together a strong start to the season and they are on a win streak of their own right now, they’re pretty much a two man team between Wallace and Jackson. The lack of scoring depth sinks the Roadrunners here: look for the Mean Green to get the win.

*** PREDICTION FROM SPORTS CHAT PLACE *** https://sportschatplace.com/picks/college-basketball/utsa-vs-north-texas-1-12-19-college-basketball-pick-odds-and-prediction Well, North Texas is rolling right along, but if you’re a pessimist you’ll point to the fact that they haven’t gotten past 65 points in any of their last three games, and none of those three wins came by more than seven points.

I just wish I could buy an iced tea at the concession stands. Faster hand dryers would be nice, too. Otherwise, I'm good...GMG!
