I used to attend 10+ home games a year for many many years, but I have not stepped for in the super pit for over 3 years. I would for sure start coming to games to support if an interim took Benfords place.

What does those 3 wins get you? Nothing in the grand scheme of things. Firing Benford now sends a much stronger message to your fan base than let's keep him just so we might win 3 games.

Does it matter who is in charge as long as it's NOT Benford? Why does it matter if we win a few more games? It's going to be a blank slate next year. It's about telling your fan base that enough is enough

There is talent on this team, a coaching change could motivate them to somewhat salvage the season and make a run. Even if Benford won out for the regular season, would we want to bring him back? NO!!!!!!
