Sara and I are in Birmingham fir the Bama game tomorrow… So……we decided to drive over and get a look at the NEW UAB stadium…. OK, UNT has a really nice stadium I would put it up with just about any stadium I have been to……BUT….HOLY COW! Birmingham/UAB have really out a nice stadium together love the lines, location, seating and club area plus, it is right across the street from the entertainment district with bars and restaurants. This is the toast of the conference for sure. The only thing I don’t like, being a multi-functional facility, the space between the sidelines and bleachers is huge much bigger than the old Fouts Field not so intimate or intimidating. we will definitely be here next year for the game IMG_4391.MOV

Despite the record, we should be able to put more than 30 people in the stands in Ruston. Many folks on this board criticize the University and football team, but fail severely in supporting YOUR team. If you only support a winner, get a Crimson t-shirt and jump on the band-wagon. Has anybody gotten their tickets for the SMU yet from the ticket office?

Watching the game, NWS looked like they could hold their own. The played a solid game. Lost some turnovers, but that looked like good, tough defense to me. I don’t think we will know how GOOD of a game we played for a few weeks. it was a methodical win. Not sure how much we held back for next weeks sakes. I was overall impressed with NWS. We have overall more talent, but that didn’t seem to intimidate them.
