  1. We don't love us some you , we or at least I hate you , but you make sure to come in every thread and crap on anyone's optimism . So you seem to be the one to make this about you . I will not anymore though. On the talk of QB I think with a year of recruiting we should be able to find a nice QB for next year. And I don't know if a Littrell QB will set the schools passing yards record but for what I would like to happen with this program he better.
  2. How much money do y'all think would have to be donated to actually make a big difference in this athletic department . 10 million ? 50 million ? Enough to start a baseball program and indoor practice facility ?
  3. Right it isn't the initial comment that is the cause , it is everyone's reaction to it. Just as traffic isn't the cars that got in the wrecks fault , it is just the cars building up behind causing the backup.. They should just know to take a different road and avoid those drivers.
  4. I don't doubt the truth of his statements. And my freshman year at UNT was 2004 so I have very little evidense to think this athletic department knows how to turn this program into what we all want it to be, but I do like the moves that have been made recently and am excited about players like Morris. I have been lurking on this website since my college days but used it mainly as a source for info about the goings on in the program. I will try to participate more in conversations in the future. Sorry that my comments helped derail this thread from the positive aspect of Morris coming here.
  5. Unt90 , I don't think you understand how much I agree with everything you say . You are completely right in your opinions of the athletic department in general. My only beef is look at what the title of this thread is. It isn't about any of those things.
  6. i think best case next year is 6 wins but getting a person like Morris to transfer here is extremely positive . I also like the idea that he has had 3 years of being coached up by some of the best coaches in college football . He is far from a proven commodity, but I think consistent QB play would make a huge difference.
  7. UNT90 , So since we decided to respond to your comment , some how it is now our fault that you continuously bring up negativity ? I really don't care if you want to be negative . Be negative. I just think your constant negative attitude pushes away alumni that don't want to participate in your constant pitty party. If there was a way to filter out your comments I already would have .
  8. I personally think this site is a great forum to voice your opinions both positive and negative . I guess my point and what aggravates me is that it doesn't matter how positive things seem to be going. Each thread that seems to be optimistic is continuously brought down by someone who just can't get over the past.I agree RV would be out a long time ago if it was my choice , but it's not . And threads like this about a good player that could help the program isn't the right platform for continued rehashing of our anger towards the athletic departments mismanagement.
  9. I personally hope he spends more time worrying about the playbook, have a great opportunity to start and continue his education rather than what the athletic director is doing. Everyone knows this isnt Alabama UNT90 , but thanks for pointing it out.
  10. I don't think many of us are in the position to influence who it is that the athletic department picks for any position . I also don't see what is wrong with having a little optimism toward the future of the program. Some of you guys are so pessimistic toward every decision made that it keeps many fans from even discussing it on here. Some of us like to believe that not every light at the end of the tunnel is just a train . You will probably just attack my grammatical errors instead of talking about the exciting things going on . I will go back to lurking now like many alumni I know who don't want to be part of the constant negative banter.
