That's like saying you get a job offer from a good job at 30 bucks an hour and you'll come in and sign the paperwork at the end of the week and 3 days later your dream job that you've wanted since you were a child offered you for 40 an hour but you already told the 1st you'd take it even though not official.. I know I'd go with the dream job. Not faulting the kids. It happens, lets hope not in this case but it happens and nobody to be mad at. -
It's not about stars, it's about we clearly targeted kids and didn't close the deal. Most of our commitments we are the only D1 offer. That's not a major win. I'm disappointing in this staff right now.

that statement just makes me feel worse. It should be a given, yet we may finish below one or both. With the blue shirts we will have a short class next yr and the piss poor closing the deal on the targets. Worried about the future for the 1st time in the short SL era

It's time to panic. We are losing everyone. Setting up for a very very poor class and I'm pretty mad about it! Why are we not able to get these guys!? Even with a surprise huge signing it will be a poor overall class at this point. Couldn't agree more! I don't know the difference in recruiting but on the field they beat us and in recruiting they are waxing us and the rest of the conference!

I for one wish we did this as a fan base. It's nearly impossible to punish them for it and kids like to go where there's a large fan base. It attributes to the atmosphere and the perception. -

Pretty simple, kid is going to pick the spot that is the best situation for them most of the time. We can't get up in arms when a better program offers a kid and he flips when we cheer for a kid that flips for us. Bradley would be a huge loss to this class, he is as close to a must have/must keep as it gets. We better have SL and co coming to visit him asap to make sure he sticks. I'll never blame an 18 year old kid that changes his mind on where he wants to set up his future career and play a little football. -
This is for the 2018 class. So ya know he'll probably count towards the 2019 class. Totally kidding, get as many big guys in the trenches and good things happen!

I NEED GOOD NEWS NOW! This off-season has been disappointing in many ways. The remedy midie would be 4 stud recruits -
Yes yes, this is why bama recruits goes after the 2 star guys. Being facetious, there are plenty of players that are overlooked in highschool that develop into amazing players are the further levels. That being said this seems like a justification of us getting 2 star players. Yes every 3-5 years we get a Cobb,Dunbar,Orr, but surrounded by less talented players we win 3-6 games. It's not by chance that Dodge's best class (the best we've had in a long time) took us to a heart of Dallas bowl win. Yes coaching has to go with it but recruiting the players is a major component of college football if not the biggest. Talent wins at this level. GET TALENT! If a new school in an ugly dome that is a commuter school has the best class in the conference then WTF is the problem. Why are we not getting the talented players? I'm tired of looking for the under the rock players. While we do hit on some that is not a winning strategy.

Another one lost, I know beating Houston is one of the tougher ones but we have to win recruiting battles that have competitive offers.
