The absolute loudest UNT sporting event I've ever been to. The "North! Texas!" chant video from that game pops up from time to time and its incredible. Multiple times Mason Fine tried to get people quiet but the crowd kept getting louder instead. I'm literally begging for our guys to bring home a W from Lubbock because that Wyoming game has all the making for a repeat of this.

SMU QB situation is a mess so I get the rating (for now). Preston Stone has been bad and Kevin Jennings is not ready.

I think people need to understand that the AD doesn’t make decisions based on the 1% of us crazies that eat and breathe UNT. They try to engage the other 99%.

They did start it last year. But since our defense was so bad I don’t think anyone (nationally) took notice.

Went on the road to start the season with 70+ new players and brought home a W. That’s big time.

Some want to dwell on the defense (understandably) but I’m wanting to focus on the offense. It was so efficient and effortless. No fluky plays. Just guys getting open and Morris putting the ball on a rope. To beat us, teams are going to have to go score for score. And they may be able to for stretches, but can they for the whole game? South Alabama couldn’t.

Nelson gonna get some grief in the locker room after that.

He’s incredible. In total control at all times. Coming from TCU, I bet playing South Alabama is like playing in slow motion.
