For those who care, I drove past that 35/35W intersection today and saw some folks working on getting the flag pole up. It’s damn huge.

I wanna believe we’ll have a special uni for one of the remaining home games. Maybe even a patriotic uni for Army? Those always look awesome.

I’m a huge homer. I generally stand on the side of optimistic... but calling Mason a “proven quarterback” is a MASSIVE stretch. Edit: I’m a Mason Fine believer. I think he’ll be a good to very good QB here, but not proven at this point.

Completely in love with the matte helmet and using the new “wing” logo more. The uni template is so much better than the previous years as well. The feathers in the uni is a nice touch. Should satisfy both the “I don’t want Oregon uni!” folks and the “I want more flash!” folks.

"New Denton" is more than just a 2 year thing. It can mean so many things. It's an evolving frame of mind. You can't change how people view UNT in only 2 years, and if players and recruits are continuing to embrace it, why would you stray from it? Keep hammering it until you get where you want be.

This is quite embarrassing that we "renovated" our locker rooms and they are no better than the local high school locker rooms. I went to a small 3A school (now in the new 4A) and our lockers/locker room were very comparable. And we had an indoor facility.

Flywire and full eagle in chrome helmet? It's possible. I don't see why you would photoshop a helmet you don't currently have unless it's in the wings (no pun intended). 100% agree. I don't know why you would hold on to them right now (if we do have some and I'm assuming we do) when you are getting your teeth kicked in recruiting.

Good thing we kept Benford around for the full year to keep the guys focused on academics or whatever.

Just going through his tweets, he sent out a top 5 yesterday and said he'd be committing tomorrow (today) at noon. Just based on that it seems like he had it planned out, which adds to the weirdness.

I'm looking forward to that and a matte black helmet with chrome green eagle. Kind of a play on the HOD13 helmet but with the current matte trend.

I went to a small 3A (now 4A) school and we had a practice facility built in 2007 or so. It was a complete game changer in terms of getting practices in when those 100 degree days hit.

There are people on the Fan that went to UNT as well. I don't think I have to listen to 1 radio station all the time. Variety of thoughts.
