  1. OU co-offensive coordinator seeing Seth take all the heat
  2. I’d say I’d assign blame to 25% scheme, 25% players, and 50% to Cam Fancher playing out of his mind.
  3. Just played our 2nd worst game of the year and was able to pull out a win. That’s huge. This team has some fight in them.
  4. It's inevitable and it sucks.
  5. If they’re playing this game, we’re playing our game
  6. Current path doesn’t appear to directly affect Boca but you never know about these things.
  7. The thing that always baffles me is that UNT does not lack for sports fans. But we do lack for UNT sports fans. Trust is earned over a long period of time so I *think* if we can sustain of level of competitiveness without a huge drop off or let downs, you could see a point where we average 25k+ for a season. But then on the flip side you see basketball do what they do and still struggle with consistent attendance. So idk… glad it’s not my job to figure this out.
  8. I’m not going to hate on the kid. He made a move that he thought was in his best interest and it turned out to be a poor football decision. Hopefully he learns from it. I’m not going to wish failure on a 22 year old because he doesn’t play for my team anymore.
  9. BRB. Gonna go “pledge” $1billion so North Texas can get in the SEC.
  10. Pavia went old school portaling. The kind of portal play that was for the love of the game.
  11. I will not be discussing the portal mid season unless there’s an UNLV situation. Thanks for understanding.
  12. I would do back flips if 10-20% of DFW based alumni cared. Would have no problem selling out if that was the case. The truth is closer to 5-10%. But you are spot on with the point that they just flat out don't care.. and only will mildly care if we have a consistent winner. Just like Mosley said on the NTE pod, it's easier to get people to buy in when they are students than trying to get them after they graduate. I feel like they have been doing a good job trying to cultivate that relationship.
  13. One whiff of adversity and our casual fans disappear. It's really annoying that we cant get people to care unless things are going perfect. Which is funny because those same people have no problem tuning in week after week to watch the Cowboys not win anything for 25+ years. Keep that same mindset for your alma mater.
  14. Think Texas State is next for MWC. Idk what the Pac is doing but they are running out of options unless they break the bank for Memphis Check that.. looks like Tarleton might be the choice.
  15. I love this for UTEP. They have been down in the dumps for a while and that fanbase still sticks by them. Even joining a gutted MWC could be the jolt that program needs.
  16. Stuff like this matters. Unless you have a clear upgrade out there, don't waste your time and others. Pernetti will remember this when it comes time to negotiate new media splits if/when Tulane/Memphis moves on.
  17. Just a crazy thing to think about.. if Chandler is here for 2 years and stays healthy, he could end up 2nd or 3rd all time in yards in UNT history.
  18. Tom here is always good for a laugh
  19. Liberty is not getting a CFP spot. A 2 loss Boise would get in over them.
  20. Could have major conference championship implications. Start the College Gameday campaign.
  21. That loss weighs so much. The casual fan sees that and checks out. But the team is handling business and on pace to make Homecoming feel very important. Would love to be 6-1 heading into it but would take 5-2.
  22. Starting the “Traylor is a fraud” campaign as we speak
  23. End of the second quarter had to have made Tulsa fans feel the way we did at the start of the 2nd vs Tech. Just an absolute avalanche.
  24. Might be the most electric team I’ve seen in a while. It has to feel suffocating as an opponent when we’re on our A game.
