    And back in 2017/2018 the narrative was he could coach and not recruit. Maybe becoming a great coach isn’t a steady climb but instead has its peaks and valleys just like anything else

    “Bottom feeders” seems like a bit of an over exaggeration. Underachieving? Absolutely. Even will all the moaning and groaning around here lately, they’re still 3-4 in conference play with no real QB. Let’s see how these top recruiting classes progress.

    Well he did ask out of the game right after breaking the reception record and signaled to someone in the stands that he was done

    I’ve said it multiple times but SUCCESS IS NOT LINEAR! We’ve seen what Seth can do. It’s up to him and the university to figure out how to get back to that level. We have a few Freshman/Sophomores that have shown a little something this year, which is extremely encouraging. If the worst Seth is a middle of the road CUSA coach that will occasionally get you in conference contention, isn’t that way more than we can say about MOST previous coaches in university history? I get the contract side but what’s done is done. Unless this thing just implodes and you sign a bottom dweller class, Wren and Co are gonna ride this thing and and reevaluate when it’s up. Might as well get on board instead of moaning and groaning.

    Judging by the offer sheet, are we sure that WE didn’t pull the offer for whatever reason rather than an outright decommit?

    Kinda looked like they wanted to pick up some yards to make it an easy 4th conversion then just got stonewalled. Very strange call.

    CUSA refs remain hot garbage. It really is embarrassing to the conference how bad they are.

    Probably less to do with losing and more to do with a P5 school w/ a private education came knocking. Not like TCU is having themselves a great year either.

    When they averaged 31 points a game while THE BEST QB THE SCHOOL HAS EVER SEEN was injured for large chunks of game/season?

    Again, it’s real easy to point to one specific game. I can point to the Cowboys v Rams last year and say that Dallas had an elite offense but that wouldn’t be the case now would it.
