Not a gameday experience but it is the official SMU football Twitter account. For a school that insists “it isn’t a rivalry” they sure think of us a lot -
What in the hell was Ragsdale doing? Had the first down if he dove but ran out bounds instead? RB depth going to be a huge issue this year. Edit: Talking about the option play. And that might have been Johnson but I’m not sure bc 23 and 25 look similar on the field.

Thank you for putting this into perspective. Went into the game as a 22 point dog and the defense came out and punched them in the mouth for 2.5 quarters. We KNEW the first half of the schedule would be rough.

I think people need to remember that, yes, football plays a huge role in conference realignment. But so does the athletic department as a whole, the facilities, endowment, student enrollment, etc. You put all those together and UNT definitely should be on a short list for any potential conference “upgrade.” -

Not a gameday issue but still annoying.. our YouTube account posted maybe the worst highlight reel I’ve ever seen. Most show a play that’s either already halfway done and some are basically over! Ex: there’s a sack highlight that starts while our player is mid hit.

The start of the season is BRUTAL. If we can come out of that first 6 game stretch with 2 wins, I’d call it a win. But I do feel very good about the final 6 game stretch. Anywhere near decent defense and improved QB play should get us to a bowl. 7-5

So how does the portal work exactly? Do players just put their name in the database and hope a coach sees and contacts them, or does it provide contact details to get in touch with specific schools?
