Yepp. I’ve noticed a few times when our WR has a step and we can’t get the ball to them. Are they easy throws? Of course not. But they’re throws a decent QB should be able to make.

I usually don’t like to say stuff like this Bc they’re just kids but since he’s technically a grown man… Aune is absolutely awful and I never wanna see him start another game.

Does our sideline seem a little light? I know we have injuries but feels pretty empty.

This is just tough to watch. Gaddie is standing right there and puts in no effort.

Last game I listened to on the radio I was in rockwall and got clear signal. As I got closer to the Denton side of Dallas, signal got worse. Made no sense

I really wanna understand what some people here see in Aune. I haven’t seen anything that would make me think “yep, this guy could be it”.

Side note: Did we lose our regular uniforms? Been running with throwbacks for a while now. We went from fun new unis every week to full time throwbacks.

He’s also missed some receivers that would get him to that “100+ yards”.. which that’s an astonishing low bar that I don’t know how to unpack.

Must not have seen the Port State game. As bad as last night was, multiply it be 2 and you MAYBE arrive at the level of incompetence that was shown that night. Last night was BAD. But losing to an FCS team by 60 was WORSE.

This starting to feel like a game where the HC gets fired right after the game.. and I really like Seth and have defended him thru some stuff that I didn’t really think was fair to throw at is feet. But tonight is ROUGH.

I REALLY don’t get the UTSA love. Someone explain it to me like I’m 5. They’ve had a couple decent football seasons and….?

Id go and check the last 3 recruiting cycles if you think UTSA has dominated.

It’s a make or break year. SL is either going to earn an extension or be fired. And neither was going to be decided after game 2 of the season. So all the “Seth is a *****” folks might as well be yelling at a wall. Watching the game, our guys had more fight in them than I saw all last year. That’s extremely encouraging going into the first conference game. Defense showed they can hold their own. Offense *at times* flashed their potential. More consistent QB play will be needed, yes. The RB situation? Sheesh.. no idea what to make of that. But overall, I truly don’t have that sky is falling feeling… yet.

We all knew it was a long shot to beat SMU so why is everyone whining after we lost? This wasn’t a secret. Hell, the fact that our defense gave us a chance makes me more excited about this season than I was before the game..

Also: the official account retweeting something like this is straight trash behavior. Definitely have some 20 year old fraternity kid running the account
