I never understood the attendance complaints. For a team that got rolled early in the season and had to go on a pretty incredible 5 game run to get to 6-6, I thought attendance was fine.. all things considering. You want to know how teams/programs crumble? When fan support disappears. So like it or not, you’re better off standing firm if you expect this team to accomplish the expectations you have for them.

Just checked… Same pricing but much higher service fee. AXS is $12.50 a ticket charge while UNT was $5. Also, there’s a large chunk in section 128 that shows for sale. Not sure where that came from.

The staff should absolutely try and get a guy like Thompson. It’s about managing expectations and not giving yourself this blind hope. Could UNT grab a P5 QB? Absolutely. We’ve seen it before. Could UNT grab a P5 QB that if not for the 2nd (?) greatest prospect of all time committing to his school, he’d still be in the running to start? No. Same response to when people were saying “Get Rattler!”

Has nothing to do with SL. Everything to do with Casey being a good QB that has plenty of P5 experience. He’ll get a shot at schools much more prominent than UNT.

This right here. Anyone around the Elite 11 camps in 2016 would tell you that Tate Martell was not a good QB. Didn’t stop him from getting countless P5 offers and rated damn near a 5* guy tho.

I guess we’ll see. I never said it was impossible or wouldn’t happen (there should be even more options after bowl season). Just said it’ll be difficult.

I guess my overall thought is that (let’s take Ward for example) if you’re a QB with multiple years of eligibility, would you rather A) be guaranteed a starting spot for a coach on the hottest of hot seats going into the year or B) compete for a starting spot for a coach that just signed a new extension. Personally, I’d probably go B. Added bonus that it’s the highest tier of CFB.
