AScott’s offensive regression has been tough to watch. Luckily his defense is so incredible he’s still a positive on the court.

Oh I definitely agree with that. Take the lumps now and grow for the tournament. I’d much rather have Edwards on my team than go against him. If Rubin continues to miss games, I could see him get a 40+ burger at some point if his shot is hitting.

Incredible crowd. There was a certain buzz and excitement in the Pit even before the game started. We give the administration grief (rightfully so, at times) but they deserve so much praise for the work that went into making last night a success. Great job all around.

This was incredibly impressive by our guys. They could have easily let the refs get into their heads and let the game get away but they didn’t. Kept on fighting and didn’t deter their aggressiveness on defense one bit. Very proud of them for that. That’s a quality of a championship team.

Buggs passion for the game is intoxicating. The kind of player that can change the course of a game with a single made shot.

The “North! Texas!” chant isn’t something you ask for. It’s an organic cheer that comes when the fans feel it in the moment. The moment was absolutely perfect tonight. I wish the gameday ops people understood that and stopped trying to push it on us (often at weird times in the game).

I got to experience it vs Texas Tech and it was a blast. No idea if it made any basketball sense in terms of who was the better team but none of us cared. Beating a team that thinks we’re beneath them is always fun. -
