Good point, Mean Green fans need to be sure to see the statue of The General in front of the stadium. I'm on VolNation. Also Cocky Talk (South Carolina is my second home state) and sometimes Baylor site. The other sites I usually just go read before and after a game. But I'm like you, I appreciated the Mean Green fans' loyalty and attitude towards their team, so I posted. And my all time favorite site to lurk is VandyMania. Don is always good for a laugh, or a head shaking.

Just got word another Vol is out for the year. We are VERY thin, so you all may see a lot of back ups early in the game. And Josh is injured also. Butch is still relatively new for us (year 3), and we have not had very many "put away" games with him. But, as Danny says, his history does not look like he would run up the score and Tennessee does not traditionally do so either. Hope everyone who gets to come enjoys all the Tennessee traditions and is warmly welcomed. Just like every fan base we have some of "those", so, if you encounter one, go on to the next true Vol and you will be treated well. Just a mention, Calhouns on the River is good...will be swamped. There is also a Calhouns in Bearden (Kingston Pike), some good places in the Old City and Market Square. Also Littons and The Creamery in Fountain City (Broadway @ Essary and Hotel respectively). There will be no non-permitted parking on campus, but uptown and across Cumberland (the Strip) are possibilities. The Strip is the UT students' area, will be restaurants, bars, etc. There is a website to check for traffic conditions. ENJOY!

So right, V'rex. Adams is a jerk, most self respecting Vol fans despise him. And he is NOT a Tennesseean or a Vol. Ignore him, Mean Green; we've been trying to for years.

The last time I saw you all play, I was sitting in Neyland Stadium and saw my first ever "Utah pass". Not one of my favorite memories...although not as bad as Auburn 10 Tennessee 9 (Sullivan to Beasley again!) or the FL phantom reception for a touchdown to "win" the game. So I will belive we beat you all when the game is over. Realize you are down currently and hope better things are on their way (but of course not at Vol expense). Hope all of you enjoy your trip to East Tennessee; it is a great time of year to see the area. Volnation will welcome you . (and, yes, I would be very interested in trading ADs )
