I agree to the point we had a decent season and have some things to be proud of. We were on to next season before this game. Fumbles, poor snaps, failing to tackle. We lacked preparation and just purely didn’t come to play.

Yeah.. it was pretty brutal in person. Having to hear the USU commentary from their fans on top of it..

You should be alright probably some good wind gusts on 287 to Amarillo but it looks clear.

George Dunham discussed Hank as AD in KTCK
UNTpolitico replied to greenjoe's topic in Mean Green Football
I personally want someone hungry for a different culture. I would plug my friend too if I was Dunham but in the long term the University needs new blood Hank may be fine gaining corporate sponsorships but I would like to see someone that has new ideas at the top. -
I think marketing and the ability to get student involvement in athletics at a non P5 should be another avenue we look at.

I'll weigh in we have a court system I personally have had limited negative interactions with the police but I have had some. If you obey a lawful order and you don't pose a threat you don't get shot. If you disagree with an officer the place to disagree and show your disobedience isn't when he's in front of you initially it's in a courtroom yes sir and no ma'am can be amazingly beneficial when you encounter law enforcement.

2 star, 1 star, siskell and ebert give him 1 thumb up and one down.. We have a transfer from a big P5 one playing for a national championship. I like it from the propaganda standpoint but would love it if maybe he had this elusive ability for UNT QB's which is to throw a pass decently regularly...

Rudy understands this more than most. The number of officers dispatched or on scene at the time would not change the results. Suspect with a deadly weapon possibly under the influence of who knows what advancing with a deadly weapon after repeated commands. We would probably just have more officers on desk duty. Rudy I quoted you because I want to thank you for what you do to protect the public and wish you and your family a merry Christmas. Stay safe out there. "The department has jurisdiction within the UNT campus, the city of Denton, and any county where UNT maintains property. Our 44 sworn police officers are state certified and enforce all city, state, and federal laws, as well as university policies." As stated they have a broad jurisdiction.

I hope we don't keep him.. I always have that UNT devil on my shoulder saying that this won't work out. I hope it does. I hope he turns this program around and we are hemorrhaging assistants and trying to keep our head coach at all costs. Because if that is happening its because we are winnings,

MGB: Watch out for this name for UNT's O-line coach
UNTpolitico replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Well that would be most people that can't claim legal residency in Texas. -
The Use-of-Force ContinuumMost law enforcement agencies have policies that guide their use of force. These policies describe a escalating series of actions an officer may take to resolve a situation. This continuum generally has many levels, and officers are instructed to respond with a level of force appropriate to the situation at hand, acknowledging that the officer may move from one part of the continuum to another in a matter of seconds. An example of a use-of-force continuum follows: Officer Presence — No force is used. Considered the best way to resolve a situation. The mere presence of a law enforcement officer works to deter crime or diffuse a situation.Officers' attitudes are professional and nonthreatening.Verbalization — Force is not-physical.Officers issue calm, nonthreatening commands, such as "Let me see your identification and registration."Officers may increase their volume and shorten commands in an attempt to gain compliance. Short commands might include "Stop," or "Don't move."Empty-Hand Control — Officers use bodily force to gain control of a situation.Soft technique. Officers use grabs, holds and joint locks to restrain an individual.Hard technique. Officers use punches and kicks to restrain an individual.Less-Lethal Methods — Officers use less-lethal technologies to gain control of a situation. (See Deciding When and How to Use Less-Lethal Devices. )Blunt impact. Officers may use a baton or projectile to immobilize a combative person.Chemical. Officers may use chemical sprays or projectiles embedded with chemicals to restrain an individual (e.g., pepper spray).Conducted Energy Devices (CEDs). Officers may use CEDs to immobilize an individual. CEDs discharge a high-voltage, low-amperage jolt of electricity at a distance.Lethal Force — Officers use lethal weapons to gain control of a situation. Should only be used if a suspect poses a serious threat to the officer or another individual.Officers use deadly weapons such as firearms to stop an individual's action.http://www.dentonrc.com/local-news/local-news-headlines/20151216-unt-police-identify-officer-in-shooting.ece Not an expert by any means but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night. The video clearly shows the office make his presence known , he then verbalizes a command 6 or 7 times. Finally given the advancing suspect within effective range with his weapon the officer was forced to escalate to lethal force. Tragic situation but the officer showed poise under pressure and let his training take over.

MGB: UNT jumps into race for Liberty QB
UNTpolitico replied to Brett Vito's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Sending out some offers we don't have a chance on is good to get media mentions you don't want too many but on a top prospect especially when he tweets out how thankful he is for it. -
He said in a podcast he did something "bad" he knows he's guilty. We traded 5 terrorists for him and many lives. I will admit I never served but I have friends and even my roommate from UNT that still does he's a bad ass and my hero. He should be convicted we need to send the message that desertion matters in my civilian opinion.
