  1. My fellow roommate from my UNT days who lives in El Paso sent me this article. http://elpaso411.com/2015/11/utep-football-game-attendence-low-buy-one-get-one-free-tickets-offered/ What would it take for you to come out to the last home game on November 28th? 5 dollars tickets? 2 free beers with ticket purchase? Discount on next year season tickets? GMG!!!
  2. Coach Mac at the used car dealership "Don't be a phony, don't be a fake"
  3. Chico's press conferences - Makes you believe Mac's press conferences - Broken Record Player
  4. Thanks for the good memories Coach MaC? Are you serious or still hungover from this weekend? 66-7 to Portland State and money going into his bank account while he sits on the beach somewhere in Florida.
  5. RV is such a joke and full of excuses. I'm not going to another home game this season after that homecoming disaster. Right now home games for the remaining season should be free admission and free beer.
  6. Guess we will need to move the coach's show to the Smoothie King...
  7. Or move some guys from offense who have some speed to defense. Anybody remember Jerry Hughes from TCU? Gary Patterson decided to moved a running back to defensive end and he became an All-American. Sometimes I wish our coaches would think outside the box. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Hughes
  8. I'm for it 100%. I'm also tired of this fan base getting pushed around and not being heard. It also pisses me off that us alumni spent our hard earn money to watch a team lose 66-7 to a FCS team. 66-7 to a FCS school is what my family and friends got to experience that Saturday....to be embarrassed. I'm happy to see that our fan base is not soft anymore and want to change for the right reasons.
  9. Matt Campbell - $495,000 Dan McCarney - $720,000 Cheaper, younger and has better record in the last 4 years than the 62 year old grandpa. http://sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/salaries/
  10. I'll take Smith all season long with his attitude and willing to throw his body around to make a play or a first down. Yes he made errors and had first half jitters, but it was his first game against a pretty good Western Kentucky team. I see alot of passion and fight in this guy, give him time and he will grow. Not bad for a guy who started practicing in the fall, had to deal with a stubborn coach who barely gave him a chance and having only a couple of days to prepare for the best team in the CUSA East Division. 4 touchdown passes and 122 rushing yards....if only he would of been name the starter from day one and had more reps.
  11. Well that didn't last long Coach Chico...
  12. Yes, I honestly believe Chico's offense was held back from McCarney's conservative approach. I mean let's face it, who in the world would want to be an offensive coordinator under Mac? Even if we don't win any of the remaining games, we will at least see some spark on the offensive side of the ball.
  13. Thought I would throw this topic out there to see if anybody is putting together a watching party...
  14. I agree. Dan was a spoiled brat who had everything handed to him. New Stadium New Facilities Bigger Budget
  15. “This isn’t the easiest place in the world to recruit to,” McCarney said. “This isn’t the easiest place in the world when you have a track record and a lot of years of losing. Just because you put up some cement and some bigger stands, that doesn’t make it easy.” That wasn’t a popular opinion among UNT fans back then and still isn’t now, but history shows McCarney is right. We brought in a guy from out of state who talked a good game but couldn't recruit worth a darn. This quote stills bothers me today and I can't believe he had the balls to say that. The problem with Coach Mac is he doesn't like change and his conservative approach at coaching led him to getting fired.
  16. If we win this game tomorrow, I don't want to hear Coach Mac on the radio being all excited like a used car salesman who just sold his first Geo Tracker. After this game coach, you have a short week to prepare for Western Kentucky on national television.
