Proud of the Defense considering how long they were on the field. We have been told over and over, on this blog too, that the offense has several years of improvements to go. Didn't expect to win...I'll mark it up to another learning experience for SL and gang.

Then you look at all the quality HS athletes in the metroplex....l believe this is what will tip the scale for NT. Winning or not! Look at Tulane...how did they get into the AAC...

There's only one football team in the DFW area and they are a professional team. The only way any of the 3 D1 schools get noticed is winning and two of the 3 don't. And even with TCU winning do they draw 50000 plus on game day, every game? Unfortunately for SMU and even NT, they don't have a snowball's chance in he'll of a invite. Should ethier of these school even throw there name into the hat...I suppose there's no harm as long as your expections are kept realistic.
