To be successful maybe you gotta make these hires. Apparently, many successful athletic departments have these positions in some form or fashion. Before we start condemning Wren let's see where all this goes. Can't be any worse than whats been going on for 15 years -

I was sitting behind Wilson's family and after the first half they commented that the Rice center was "rolling the ball" or something like that that kept pulling NT off and getting penalized. Hummm..I guess NT finally figured it out.

After watching this team Saturday, anything is possible. Like everyone else, going 2-0 the next two weeks would be great....but I really want to see continued improvement. I went with 1-1 thinking one of them will choke. -

Been to several loses in Houston. Today felt like another one coming in the first quarter.......was amazing. Lot of Green, vocal and excited and these guy's delivered! Long way to go but tonight was a giant step in the right direction....it's coming! -

Still say it's gonna be close. Rice doesn't want to be the one who lets this NT road losing streak end. Rice is going to show up to play some football! Hopefully, NT will to.

Proud of the Defense considering how long they were on the field. We have been told over and over, on this blog too, that the offense has several years of improvements to go. Didn't expect to win...I'll mark it up to another learning experience for SL and gang.

Money..Money..Money.....that's what drives major conferences. There are 3 D1 schools in the DFW area. NT is the largest and it's in a top 10 TV market. Then you look at all the quality HS athletes in the metroplex....l believe this is what will tip the scale for NT. Winning or not! Look at Tulane...how did they get into the AAC...

all enlisted contracts are 8yrs....3,4,5,6, active but you always owe 8. What ever remains after your active duty is up you are placed in the IRR for the rest of your contract.
