When I first saw and read articles on MF before NT offered...I knew he was the underdog we needed to push this underdog program out of its funk it was in! Great article and wish all the luck to MF in accomplishing the goals he has set for himself this year.

Takin the travel trailer to Mississippi for about week with the SMiss game the focal point.

I hope SL learned something from last year and keeps focused on the job at hand.

Told BV 10-4.....but if we don't win either the Confernce Champion and especially the BOWL ......SL stock will level out....IMO.

Best thing to happen in off season was GH leaving. Not sure where the problem was but we'll see if he is ready for prime time or if he was being held back.

Is the mental chemistry there for them?? Could be but odds are there not there two weeks into the season.

That would indicate something negative about the coming football season..NO!

If they all stay healthy and MF is already on target with receivers the only thing they have to conquer is the mental part of this game.

I'd have to think back but this may have been best away game I've ever attended.......love how before game hog fans were patronizing...afterward nada word... LOL!

NT part is funny but the end is hilarious....

If that's true and SL jumps out there as he did last year, then NT will be lucky to hit nine wins. IMHO.....that coaching carousel during football season is a major distraction for any football team and will affect the teams focus and play.

If NT stays healthy and the coaching carousel distraction doesn't start again.....this might be a very special season for NT.

I thought it was great. Got to see where the upper class parties down during the game and lots of free stuff! Only complaint would be the garage sale area needs to be bigger if they have that much stuff to get rid of.

Well...if a miracle occurs and Houston some how beats OU...I just don't see how Apogee want sell out. Course that also requires NT to take care of their business too.

Man.....tuff audience on this thread. I mean if you win FOUR CONFERENCE championships and have a BOWL WIN during that period and can't get into UNT HOF.......guess none of our coaches shouldn't be in. Guess lots of people sided with RV when RV and DD had their little spat.

What was SL conference wins before NT...he didn't have any as a HC. And I suppose beating Cinni was just a accident. I was never excited about MVC either... and they occasionally had good teams. You deal with what conference your in and go. I mean I'm not real crazy about CUSA...Look where our division was ranked after last year. Bottom Line...who had a better record than 4 conference title's and a BOWL win! Not defending DD but after years of being beaten down DD got us up and excited.

Unfortunately, DD WON FOUR CONFERENCE TITLES and a BOWL WIN. Someone please tell me who has done the same or better. Those were good times and it was fun. SL will make it in.

In sports many top athletes developed premature gloat. Sometimes I worry about my favorite college football team doing the same. But look at what MF sez....(paraphrasing)....every play may be my last....just gotta soak it in. I don't worry about MF.
