Love this attitude. Already gloating about next year. Hope this is a reflection of all Smut fans and the team.

Was it the OC fault...HC or what. It's too early to start blaming specific individuals. SMU came to play and UNT didn't get off the bus. This was a mental error by all including the NT fans. Certain people on this board kept shooting Red Star Clusters trying to warn us...but we refused to believe. I'm off my cloud and will assume every game will be a nut buster...UNiTE and assume No gimme's. We seem to have a couple of these type of games a year...unfortunately. This time the opponent was ready and we weren't.....

This was a classic case of Premature Gloat. The coaches believed the hype that leaked down to the players. From the first series on..... they looked out of sorts. The mental preparation for game day is a continuing problem with SL and his team when playing big away games. Reality Check for SL and company. This team can do better.

Apparently, a lot of people bought into "The Hype", myself included. Damn it was a hard landing...

Talk about deflating all this hype...Bret can I change my win totals this year. I don't see any positives....please help!

My problem with Smut is their continued arrogance toward UNT and even a couple teams in their own conference. They live in a fantasy world. Money can buy a lot but it can't buy respect and fanfare they seem to want so badly. Their only claim to fame was they got caught CHEATING and received "The Death Penalty" from the NCAA and it was deserved. Since the mid 1980's what football championships have they won without cheating? I know they won a couple of division championships In CUSA but no conference title. Talk about gloating.....

Just win. People keep wanting to get ahead of what's in front of NT..that Houston game is important but let's beat SMU and that will add to the interest of the Houston game and the elusive Appogee sell out.

Nice to hear but they mention NT's achilles heal...get that lead and sit on it. I was hoping it might have to do with GH and play selection. Our defense may not be our strong point. So our offense needs to put their foot on the pedal and let the defense take care of the anxiety that it causes SMU.

NT wins by 10. Playing at home in the Peppermint Palace doesn't help..SMUt drinks the green coolaide.

But even Monday there was no mention of many games including NT or Smut (Rockwall). DMN continues its free fall decline.

From NT Ticket Office...Sec 119. Same NE corner SMU always puts visitors in if you buy from NT. But there's always room to move around.

Rockwall edition also no mention of NT or Peppermint Palace. Sports Day 2 coverage sucked and one would think first big football weekend they would of "Stop the Presses!".

Perhaps they would have a few CST games if they added a couple of Texas Universities..

Student Section looked great from the other side of the field. And if some got a little rowdy... it's called home field advantage.

Come on Nikki....I must of been at a different game than you were. It was never close. NT beat Ark in every facet of the game. By the third quarter you could see y'all's mental collapse. If it were a close game I might see Nikki's point.

Awesome...wonder if that schedule was the hardest schedule NT ever had?

Their already gloating. Got'em right where we want them. That back field might slow down the passing attack some but just opens up a running attack that most may not see as a strong element of our offense.
