Overall..so far this season.....perfect example of "Premature Gloat". There is still time to right the ship but I'm afraid there are too many holes in the sails to move us to where we want to be.

SL isn't managing this team well. Changes in coaches and players, even from game to game, have affected his ability to game plan. To me it looks like the departure of Graham Harrell was devastating to the offense and then add losing two of Mason's favorite targets compounds the problem. Seth needs to step back and quickly make some changes. Before the season we knew the defense and STms were questionable but thought the offense would carry the day. A Leader who surrounds themselves with successful people will in turn be successful.

I hope we win out. But I'm saying that cause that's what I want and maybe not being realistic. But a 6 win season....yea it gets us to a bowl where we probably won't be favored and fans will be leary of the outcome. Don't think it pushes us forward very much.

Win out the regular season games you got a 9-3 season with CUSA Championship game probably played in Apogee......it could.happen!! But it starts Oct 12 with USM and that game will set the tone for the drive to win the west.

Two more will be there...

This season is slowly turning. I feel bad for Mason Fine and don't blame him for the disappointing start. For me...this is all on the coaches.... Lose to USM, start the bilge pumps....

Ok...the athletic department overall is in great shape. This year's Football team, well.....if your happy with the record your # old Denton. Blown out in two of your more high profile ooc games doesn't move the peg forward. I'm headed to Hattiesburg for the USM. Drop this one...just don't see NT winning the west. THIS USM game is now a must win.

Seth ain't going no where right now. I would be surprised if any coaches leave before season is over. The excitement of this team's season is spiraling downward. But NT still has conference play and could win the west division and play for the Conference title. But no FBS OOC wins this season stains any conference titles. Unfortunately, all the preseason hype may have played a roll in our demise. SL should of been able to see our talent level fell after last season and adjusted expectations. The success of this football season was placed squarely on Mason Fine's shoulders and charged to do more with less support.....IMO

You want see this size of crowd again this year. NT continually drops the ball on big games. SL should be dishearten....his "stock" when down along with the enthusiasm of many fans.

Seth probably needs to help Reeder in play calling. If you want SL gone...pray we win out. And if you look at today's scores it's possible...then after watching today's game...well......

And how do they count attendance? 30000+...I refuse to believe it...to many empty upper deck and wing vacancies and I really can't judge the west side. But way to go NT. At least that is a positive from the game.

I agree somewhat...but that crowd tonight want be back this season. A 500 team that can only occasionally win a OOC game doesn't fill these stadiums. And in DFW it's impossible.

Where's he going.....these OOC games have ruined his marketability.

No expert...but 20000 people using their phones at the same time seems to slow my phone down too when in Apogee. Out in the parking lot seems to work ok. I sit on the west side of the stadium...is the eastside or wing any better?

Just another Power 5 power grab. Ok...pay them and you'll see many schools dropping football. There is no way big universities, like ours, and especially smaller public school will survive. Money, money, money....show me the damn money!! Ok, where's my down vote

It just is crazy that with the history of NT football we never got into a conference with the so called "Big Boys". Guess between the shallow leadership we've experienced and state politics it just wasn't in the cards. I keep getting told our fan base isn't as large as it should be???? I always say look up our attendance and if NT was in a Power 5 it may well double easily if not more. Ahhh but not the case.
