  1. https://www.ksl.com/article/50000517/ncaa-pushes-decision-on-college-football-other-fall-sports-to-august No news is good.news?
  2. Everybody is going to lose money this year..some more than others.
  3. https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/college/conference-usa/florida-international-university/article244373227.html FIU and Butch Davis are busy. There is definitely a draw to South Florida.
  4. They at least have a plan....
  5. Ok..ok..OKKKK.my wife even ate my arse out for that comment. But I did finally fine what I read.. TEXAS plans on playing to 50% unless Greg steps in. https://247sports.com/Article/Texas-Longhorns-planning-to-limit-seating-capacity-to-50-percent-149344007/ Thinking that if UT goes that way then any State supported school can too!
  6. If Big 12 plays and aTm and NT are state supported universities why would we cancel. State sez 50% capacity. Judy I'm sure would throw a fit.....but hey...who at this point cares what Judy wants..
  7. Estimates= disclaimer. How do you believe any numbers when everyday they suck back and change those numbers. I don't put much into the numbers because COVID 19 has become political. The article is just more cannon fodder that you can read everyday in the news cycle.
  8. At this time in Texas it's 50% capacity of stadiums/ sports venue. It's going to depend on which side ( those schools who want to play vs schools who want to remain shut down) puts the most pressure on conference leadership. Judy has never been ahead of any curve since taking over leadership of CUSA and it want start now.
  9. Numbers are being mis-reported. Even the article above has a disclaimer at the bottom for its numbers. CDC can't even get their shit straight. Bexar and Harris counties get caught reporting bad numbers??? Having worked in the Rio Grande Valley for a couple years....lol...I know why their numbers went thru the roof. I'll play along for now. If by mid Nov Covid out of the news cycle I'll be cryin BS...if I'm not already doin so. Let me have my thumbs down.....
  10. We can start the season on Nov7....the Covid will be gone on the 3rd.
  11. It will all be better after Nov. 3, 2020....
  12. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/cusa/2020/07/14/shedeur-sanders-deion-sanders-qb-son-commits-fau-owls/5433328002/
  13. If schools are being attended then sports should be played. Class sizes smaller?? No lunch?? I don't see how you can attend classes in confined spaces with central air handling and be ok but God forbid your outside you'll come down with the covid. Same rational you can have thousands marching in protest and that's ok but people in a bar are dangerous........
  14. Course it's all about the money. Hmmmm....student athletes reporting with anticipation of playing fall sports when no one can even tell them that they will. Make a frickin decision! Waiting for other conference's to make a decision...made my point. Guess CUSA is a follower instead of a leader.
  15. I'm thinking it's almost mid July and no decision or direction. Judy is already behind the power curve.
  16. Hummmmm.....Rice??? I'm thinkin that at best a toss up but one we should win.
  17. Surprise= 6+ wins
  18. I'm thinking since we have the Highest paid coach in CUSA he needs to find some magic.
  19. IMO #2 is a good number for SL. Needs to surprise us this year to stay there.
  20. So Six Flags and Disney World can be opened???
  21. I'd put smu before Houston only because of their QB.
  22. Think the QB position is up for grabs..didnt see Aune mentioned
  23. Abbott's 50% is not cut in stone..UT and ATM are not on board. This is Texas politics and with the Legislature packed with their Alumni I think the situation is very fluid.
  24. We've been thru this before. At NT you win FOUR straight Conference Championships you get into NT HoF regardless of the circumstances.
