Did KD commit then back out before signing...

Why would you want someone back after he has shown you he has NO loyalty to you, your team or school. As for all who left thru the portal... Don't let the door hit you in your ass on the way out. IMO...Loyalty plays a huge part in success of any endeavor.

I like bowl games. I could care less if there are 10 or 100000 in attendance.

A single male with no apparent write offs would make the IRS and Uncle Joe happy. Wonder if any of the benefits are taxed?

When your at the bottom it's easy to look up.

Cal lands North Texas QB transfer Chandler Rogers
RBP79 replied to cousin oliver's topic in Mean Green Football
Yea....I thought he transferred here under the assumption he was the "1" Starter. This is the result of "Growing pains" for Morris. Add the NIL and "The Portal" it was going to be a mess anyway. -
Verbal Commitments Early signing period Dec 20-22

If I'm not mistaken...Those who go Pro....The service academy graduate is placed on Reserve Status. But at one time there was a 4 to 6 year Active Duty commitment depending on the needs of the service.

So if student athletes become employees they can sign a contract and be sued when they break it. What kind of mass revenues does UNT make off the Athletic Department... So if your selected to attended a military Academy your signing a contract with that military branch and owe them your service after graduation. How does NIL and the portal effect them? This quickly turning into a SHITSHOW.

A question for the "We should only recruit through the portal" crowd
RBP79 replied to emmitt01's topic in Mean Green Football
Eventually NIL will have limits placed on it thru the courts...imo -
This is the same story line every coach NT has had. Right now "I" feel Morris (other G5 HFC's) are in a world of hurt. Guess this time next year we'll find out if Morris can navigate the "New" college football land scape...a re-build every year unless changes are made or have plenty of cash.

So when they leave us do we let them come back?
RBP79 replied to Tommy Gadberry's topic in Mean Green Football
Ehhh....I can't see Rogers getting to much. I believe he was the 9 or 10th QB to enter the portal. Since then even a couple more have entered. He has one year left and sure that plays into his worth in the portal. -
There are three semi-pro conferences now. The rest of us are just talent pools the the three dip into as the need arises. There is only one more axe to fall.

Cause it's crossed everyone's mind?

BSU wants to win Championships. The powers that be at UNT want .500 ball. If not why do we keep coaches who are the worst at their coaching position. Why do we allow HFC to continue supporting someone whose clearly not capable of coaching his players. Why do we allow a AD to continue not influencing the HFC to correct these apparent issues.... Why???? Because we are NORTH TEXAS! Wait till next year...we'll kick ass....I've heard BS to many times. But here I am....I am a masochist. GMG

Guess the conference leadership figures that worst defense in FBS cancels everything else....

How many people get to be the WORST at their chosen profession and still have a job???

Just wonder what Eric Morris was thinking when Rogers didn't start opening weekend.
