Partly true. But now I don't have a $100+ monthly 12-month contract just to watch football. I subscribe for a month or two, move on. Olympics? 1 month of peackock. Yes, it would be bad if each team or sport was tied to a specific service. I already have prime for shipping, so Thursday night is basically a freebie. Disney+ is basically a requirement for families with kids, so espn3 and espn+ are basically free too (ok, maybe 5 a month). My biggest struggle is normal espn which is tied to an obscenely priced cable service or youtube tv or whatever on top of it all. Once network tv dies, they can bundle it cheaper and I don't have a contract for it anymore. Just a month here and there and all is well! Until then, I shall pirate the seven seas for my sports on Sunday.
