We were embarrassed. By a g5 team. At home. That benched its best players. On what should have been our best team and season. There needs to be some accountability for our million dollar man. Not saying we need to fire Seth. But I'd like to see some fire in Seth. Instead it's mumble after mumble of coach speech. I'm not convinced this is college football's future coach. So we are living in the past and not looking to improve the future? got it. (I can generalize too!). Best to Learn from the past, focus on the future. I think the source of distress is we aren't living up to what that future could be

This game. Our first qurarter. Our collective non-FCS/UTSA work... this is that drunk guy driving a 1988 toyota tercel hatchback with a mismatched hood plowing into you from behind, shoving you into the brand new Mercedes-Benz G-class (purchased as a graduation present for the SMU grad driving it). Then running away because he lacked insurance, leaving you with the bill. This season has been near catastrophic (compared to what we SHOULD be doing) and we sorely need more than a lil' fixing. We need the texas hammer to pull our ass out of this rut.

Perspective is getting 7.66 wins. In CUSA. Arguably (but not by much) worse than Sunbelt now. Let's win something meaningful and then those stats might be useful

UNT is still a stepping stone. You don't come back (which, ironically doesn't jive with the old axiom: You never leave Denton). Old denton would say Seth is a lock to stay. New Denton needs his ass in the hot seat. If he can't get the job done, we'll hire someone who will. GH won't be coming back. Reeder isn't the answer. So let's take a step up instead of backwards.

Alternate response: point out one positive (ok, besides Siggers) of this season vs last two. I'll wait.

I'll give you an upvote for a fair argument. My concern is that whatever "high" we've been riding is going to come down. Those recruits will flip because SL just cannot break thought that ceiling. 4 years now and the job is still not getting done. 4th year, this should be the ideal recruiting class. And it's so far been worse than the last 2 years...

Pretty sure the results speak for themselves. This year's team didn't fill the gaps. Next year's team will suffer for it. Doesn't matter what the recruiting stats are. The final numbers are the real truth. And truth hurts this year...

Is it thought? This year looks excessively worse than last. It appears that gap is just getting bigger. And will only get bigger after two blowout losses... Who would want to sign under Seth "the choker" Littrell?

The only way this season would not be a major disappointment now is if we actually won ANY important game. Conference champ or bowl. It's sad that we have to even debate whether we can get bowl eligible in as bad a conference as this... Then, it's just mostly a disappointment. Season is a real let down. Still, will be watching in 2 weeks.
