  1. Well that's misinterpretation if I've seen one. You 100% fire the man if he doesn't deliver So your suggestion is we just keep paying the man for mediocrity? I'm not sure what the end game of your argument is, but it seems like we should just accept the inevitable and hope for the best, but not make plans for it? We call that Mccarney Ball around these parts. It's not a big hit.
  2. I'm inclined to agree except for one counter point: Seth's ass MUST be in the hot seat. Accountability is everything. He has no fear of his job, he's got 6+ mil guaranteed coming in, and it shows. We shouldn't fire a coach after a bad season, but the coach needs to fear for his job after a bad season. The power is all on with the coaches (in g5) at the moment. We are treating them like p5 materials, and that's where their eyes are
  3. I hope this becomes Garrett's Portland State and they hang 50 on us. He was given a fair chance for too long. I want something to hope for the future of our sports. Hey.... Maybe maverick will have a good.... Sorry. Sorry. I cant even finish typing that.
  4. Cowboys are pulling a mean green and tanking the season to get the coaching staff fired. Only Dallas could make the Jets look good. Only unt could make SMISS loom like Alabama. Why must I choose to love the losers?
  5. Basically says it all, right here. Not just player talent, but coaching too:
  6. See y'all next game with my green koolaid. Season is done for me, but I've watched worse. Gotta bitch about something
  7. Other than bring the worst fbs team up a few ranks, he's outlived his potential. Nothing he's shown rises above average. Sure he made us average. In the worst conference. He peaked. It's time to go.
  8. Team is done for the year. Killing blow tonight. Need to let bean run the show. Fine should sue the staff for loss of future income. Litrell has got to go. This is not our future. He's the past now and we have to do better
  9. Guess we answered the question of if we had potential this year. The universe just threw a middle finger at us. And named the finger Litrell.
  10. as bad as offense looked, 20 points in the half isn't too bad. It's the 28 allowed that's giving me liver damage
  11. Like Peanut butter and Jelly, name two better things that belong together
  12. I'm usually Mr negative. for good reason. But our tackles (when not missed) are looking better. Guys are really going for blood.
  13. Whoa whoa man. we still got 2 1/2 quarters. At least close the garage and get the car running.
  14. There is no phase of the game where we look reasonably decent. Slow defense with soft coverage. Non-existent offense. Special teams hasn't made a terrible showing tonight, but only a matter of time given the rest of the season. How does a team plummet this far after showing so much promise the past 2 seasons???
  15. well this didn't age well, did it?
  16. SMISS crowd is really helping out here. Lot of noise and a lot of momentum building.
  17. Might be the only bright spot to this season. This guy is something special, and only a sophmore.
  18. Oh I still am. I'm not sold on this guy at all. I'm pretty sure his playbook is drawn with crayons. Broken crayons. like the ones you find at the bottom of the couch on a late saturday after your kid has had his way with a superhero coloring book. Even then, we might be giving him too much credit.
  19. well sh*t. Here we go again.
  20. https://drafthouse.com/dfw/tickets/unt-football-watch-party/0707/19718/showtimes beer. ok food. sitting next to someone you've never met and having a great time? check (edit: dang, didn't realize "90" posted same place. can't hurt to double advertise, right?)
  21. We were embarrassed. By a g5 team. At home. That benched its best players. On what should have been our best team and season. There needs to be some accountability for our million dollar man. Not saying we need to fire Seth. But I'd like to see some fire in Seth. Instead it's mumble after mumble of coach speech. I'm not convinced this is college football's future coach. More of a paycheck and a few more bowl losses away from retiring here as our perpetual 6-6 "heck we did ok" coach
