  1. WR drops. They should be catching balls in their sleep Not those ones, sicko. You know who you are
  2. You work with what you get. As I tell my wife, i promise I'll read her mind better next time!
  3. Thanks! So nothing much aside from what we are all bickering about here
  4. paywalled
  5. So Seth is the best of what we can do as a school. This is it! We peaked! Pack it in folks, UNT football has finally done all it can.
  6. Maybe we can boil it down to one single question: Could UNT hire someone better with our resources? My opinion is absolutely. And with little risk.
  7. I can think of 2 million reasons on how to counter that...
  8. For what it's worth, we are still here watching along with you. Every week. And will still be next year. This is what a forum is for, to express our shared interest in the program, good or bad. My own proclivities aside, we aren't here to do each-others nails and drink mimosas (I mean, I would if we had some. mimosas. not nails). We are here to fart, burp, complain, cheer, and enjoy the shared highs and low. We are more of just a bunch of dumb gorillas moaning on the interwebs about a bunch of almost-adults who don't meet our standards. But moan we will. And drink. And moan more. Now I need to go set an appointment with my manicurist.
  9. I'm, obviously, voting under no circumstances. We have a richly rewarded coach leading a mediocre team against a bunch of sh!tty teams. I don't care how good that w/l looks on paper, it's not enough for the future. Crowds aren't going to look better while we sit at the bottom of AAC/CUSA 2.0. Looking to the future means not doubling down on where we are. For 2M a year I'm sure we can get a hell of a coach in to take us to another level. Extending seth is just asking someone who you were ready to break up with on one last date only to be taken to mcdonalds. It's crappy and greasy, but it sure taste good in the moment.
  10. It's almost like we haven't reached his ceiling after 7 years, in the worst conference, for more money than anyone else here is close to getting. THAT is what's insane. It's not about what he's done, it's about how much more he should have done. Someone could do so much better with so much less. And they have. Keep on tootin' that horn for Uncle Seth though. I'm sure he'll invite you to thanksgiving dinner
  11. True. But I could walk into a gym, find the toughest guy there, and just sucker punch him and see what happens or... I could walk up to a playground, punch a kid, steal their lunch money. The results are there. I know I'm a bit of a downer lately, but I just have such a hard time getting excited about anything related to the sinking ship that is CUSA.
  12. A. You aren't wrong. And beyond my ability to believe might have sold me on what Bloesch can do. Guy might be a miracle worker B. CUSA. That's all. Thats my entire defense
  13. This is 100% what NIL was meant go be. Glad to see some good fruit from that tree.
  14. We aren't even making post after post about mattress mack. Just fun reads about a UNT supporter which have almost no impact on your daily life. Feel free to pass the thread up and move along.
  15. Shoot for the stars first. If you only hit the moon you're still doing great. I agree with @meangreenbob. Aim as high as possible first. That should always be your target
  16. Zeke has shown some great flashes of this early years. He is definitely a power back. Pollards fills the versatile role very well. Plus zeke is just fast for a giant ewok
  17. So we are still ranked well below the leftovers. Not improving that outlook much
  18. Maybe dude. But don't call me dude, bro
  19. Uh... Dude. Its his 7th season. He can't get over that hurdle
  20. And that's a fair critique. We can only have hope for what's ahead. Just feels like celebrating mediocrity. King of the junkyard when we could be so much more... I need to go yell at some kids to get off my yard.
  21. Its not vitriol. I don't "want him gone so badly" but more of "he came and did what he could". We reached his ceiling and someone could do a lot better. I've stated before my expectations. Decisively win the conference and be a bowl champ who doesn't get blown out. He just can't seem to get over that hurdle.
