  1. Improvement is rarely instantaneous with change. Its a rebuild year, best to temper expectations.
  2. Watching him play yesterday, there are some serious issues with that team. There seemed to be major miscommunication between the WRs and Fine throwing some crazy airballs to the middle of no where. There were a couple of dimes he threw that reminded me of his days here, but between the Oline and recievers... It's no wonder the team is struggling. Either way, any chance to watch him play is worth while. Haven't watched CFL for a long while.
  3. I really really REEAAAAALY wish that we could decouple sports from other services (Youtube TV, Fubo, etc...). I'd happily pay 20 a month for a couple streaming services and watch just college football over $70-100 a month packages that I will never watch anything else on. Now I just use trial accounts each weekend out of spite. Stadium left a bad taste in our mouth, but the needle has to move that direction eventually. Apple is a much better play than Stadium/Facebook was, but I definitely see the same issue as Thursday night football on Prime (which I'm grateful for, because I already have prime)
  4. A lot of hate in here... And I can't object in his last 2 years. But man... When he joined, the first few years were absolute 🔥. Marketing and graphics were on point. Hype was up. Then... Just nothing. If UNT were anything but a stepping stone to anyone things could go very differently.
  5. At one point, you just gotta commit and go all in. Arizona should have been that stop, but it seems like he was forced to always overachieve his expectations (By who, I wonder...?) The portal can help revive careers. In this case, it has all but ended it because there was no commitment to working harder/better to earn the spot. Find the next easiest stop and hope for the best?
  6. Might want to check those numbers
  7. Rebuild year? Check New coach(es)/schemes? Check Harder conference? Check This year will be a hard watch. If we win 5, it's would exceed my expectation. 4-8, sadly no bowling. Shake it off, and next year will be a major improvement.
  8. But my mom says I'm a handsome boy and not to listen to them.
  9. See, I miss those days when you COULD support a player. NIT/Portal has put every NCAA team in a pay-to-win model. It's hard to care about the "student employees" on the field/court now when they can just move on practically whenever they want. Makes it hard to care about any of the teams and competition now. That said, some players also deserve that opportunity too. TP has a massively high ceiling, and he can do so much more.
  10. Thought that was him on TV... Good man supporting those who helped him rise
  11. They are super talking up CUSA teams (soon to be AAC teams). At least some respect is being shown
  12. Might? Rest of us are on a post UNT after party
  13. Sadly, there's about 2,000,000 reasons why... and not a chance we'd even come close to matching that
  14. I wouldn't expect much returned to us for that role. A lot of analyst take the job for near free since they are still on buyout money
  15. Gonna need a mercy rule soon. I almost feel bad for sam houston. Almost
  16. Its just a small something called inspiration... Seriously... I bet you aren't related to Martin Luther king but sure would find his speech motivating. You never made a movie but you've probably been inspired by one. Do you listen to someone elses music? Well guess what... Drawing on emotional context to inspire is a great tool until we fill our tool kit with enough to create our own. You just sound... Angry, and honestly petty
  17. Little injury worry before but having himself a game
  18. Given the new staffs focus on recruiting... I expect a much much better roster. Coaching still TBD... But for whatever reason I'm optimistic
  19. So, because someone doesn't benefit you or do your liking, you wish him harm? You must be fun to live with
  20. BTW...didn't mean to criticize without leaving a compliment. These are all 🔥 . Might just drop a scrappy of my own if they keep getting better.
  21. Failure is absolutely the best teacher. He may not have the success he has now without failing first. Even Saban did. Kiffin. Harbough. And hopefully... Coach mumbles
