  1. But this time it comes with offensive issues too!! Neat!
  2. Receiver was literally falling to the ground when he intercepted
  3. So far its just 1 guy with 2 big plays. Contain him and we might have this
  4. So, our defense isn't a moist pile of swampass. Good stop.
  5. The PTSD sets in pretty quickly for us long timers
  6. So... Offense and defense not inspiring yet. But we still got special teams to watch!!
  7. After that drive, we might as well be.
  8. Seeing attendance for TCU... The fans turned out. Lets hope ours do too
  9. This guy could not be more different than Seth. I'm excited
  10. Feels like anything can happen today. We could either blow cal away or lay a giant Dodge on the turf.
  11. Doesn't that just apply to ESPN+ though? Can't watch the main ESPN channels
  12. Unfortunately, we live in a reality where we have to police adults like they were still children. More people + more potential weapons = more potential incidents. So sure, it's not fair to the 99% who wouldn't do it, but that still leaves 200 potential idiots. And 200 idiots can quickly become a mob. It's unlikely anything would happen, but you have to prepare as if something will happen (because it does happen elsewhere)
  13. How old do I need to be before I admit that I want that shirt Mosley is wearing? And where can I buy it...for a friends...parents...birthday.
  14. We are too new and too green(hah!). The heat will help wear them down but there's just too many new faces and changes to pull an upset. I expect a quick pull ahead by cal who gets worn down by environment and defense energy making it a closer game 38-30 cal unfortunately
  15. Supply vs demand. Until we (demand) outpace the seating capacity (supply), expect prices to evolve to intersect them. Welcome to the good ol' goddamned USA! 🇺🇲
  16. Sigh..."or"...
  17. Honestly, should coaches really care so much about the guys emotions? Stone won it, Stone get's 110% of the support. If you have to spend every game looking over your shoulder because they just aren't quite sure, then your focus is divided and you are at a major disadvantage. You play Rogers on specific packages that screw with the opponents heads, but you commit everything else to Stone unless he pulls a Greere and has the most epic choke game of all time (looking at you UT game)
  18. Because paying extra money is the only thing that makes SMU relevant? Seems familiar
  19. Curse and a blessing I guess. When I did my degree in trombone performance they had too many students and not enough professors. Easy to get lost when the 50 graduate students get 95% of the focus. Hope they corrected the staff to students issue... (Addendum: ended up doing MBA finance after)
  20. Improvement is rarely instantaneous with change. Its a rebuild year, best to temper expectations.
  21. Watching him play yesterday, there are some serious issues with that team. There seemed to be major miscommunication between the WRs and Fine throwing some crazy airballs to the middle of no where. There were a couple of dimes he threw that reminded me of his days here, but between the Oline and recievers... It's no wonder the team is struggling. Either way, any chance to watch him play is worth while. Haven't watched CFL for a long while.
  22. I really really REEAAAAALY wish that we could decouple sports from other services (Youtube TV, Fubo, etc...). I'd happily pay 20 a month for a couple streaming services and watch just college football over $70-100 a month packages that I will never watch anything else on. Now I just use trial accounts each weekend out of spite. Stadium left a bad taste in our mouth, but the needle has to move that direction eventually. Apple is a much better play than Stadium/Facebook was, but I definitely see the same issue as Thursday night football on Prime (which I'm grateful for, because I already have prime)
