  1. There's always a possibility!
  2. That's basically what Sanders did... and he followed through. But there is a middle ground between great and terrible you know... "the guys we have are enthusiastic and ready to go, we just need to fill in some gaps and get to know each other and eventually make this a monster..." Instead of just "we gonna suck"
  3. That assumes the content mills and specialist even care enough to read/aggregate our thoughts. When/IF they ever do, I think we'll be doing a LOT better than 1-2 basement dwellers and have even more meaningful "Fire coach Harbaugh Jr" posts by then
  4. Tried that yesterday...still went poof. But what I could pick up from that is that there are some (small/significant?) changes in the background going on, and honestly it's smart to not put it all out there until ready. Lack of transparency, but it's still a privately owned board. So, yes, I think something is afoot, and we'll have to endure a bit of micromanaging until then. I'm not crazy about it, and I certainly don't like being told I can't be critical of my team. But I'll give my b*tching a break and see what happens. If I don't like it...We can open our own forum. With blackjack and hookers.
  5. When is the last time a bunch of rich folk paid poor folk to work for them and call it charity? Abraham Lincoln might have some choice words about that...
  6. Except that's not even remotely why you would pay. Chances are you are going to end up buying players from higher end and established athletic families. You aren't raising the poor to match the rich. You're buying the next 5* athlete and patting yourselves on the back for altruism. This is why I hate NIL in the current state
  7. A fat lion rarely needs to hunt...
  8. Love it. Reminds me of those Office Linebacker super bowl commercials
  9. You forgot to mention the part where they got the job at their daddies company. For fun, this reddit thread seems to be having fun with SMU:
  10. Great content.
  11. Was he playing defense? Not sure that argument stands up
  12. Probably? Thats a pretty low bar 😉
  13. Fixing the rush and adapting on defense. This is not bad football. I'm not ready to sing praises... but maybe a subtle nod from across the bar?
  14. Rogers has some nice legs
  15. We need to look at the era beyond NIL and portal. When can we, as a university, start legally adopting commitment players? One big family. But this time literally.
  16. If she doesn't understand, then is she truly your soulmate? My wife always loves catching me doing dumbshit. So she can hold it against me for the next 10 years... True love.
  17. We don't exactly have a large body of work to go off of. I didn't see any night/day difference between him and Stone. I kinda wish we'd stayed with him just to boost that confidence, but whatever. I'm already on this roller coaster, so whether it breaks down or not, gonna enjoy it while I can.
  18. I still think the miffed field goal return from Auburn in the Iron Bowl 2013 is the greatest play of all time, at least CFB. That run was nuts.
  19. Fixed?
  20. Might as well come out with a 12 man line. Really see the shock on their faces. Hell, we would probably give up less yards just taking the penalty
  21. I dunno... after the last two games a lobotomy isn't sounding too bad

I'm just happy anyone is willing to host our games online
  23. Do we even have a choice? I would love to field a team of our own players, guys loyal to the team. Sadly, that's not how it works anymore. And after watching SMU, Colorado, Tx State, etc... Everyone is going to go even more portal/NIL crazy. And, as has been said, if we lack the size and buy-in from the team... You don't have a lot of options but going scorched earth.
