Tried that yesterday...still went poof. But what I could pick up from that is that there are some (small/significant?) changes in the background going on, and honestly it's smart to not put it all out there until ready. Lack of transparency, but it's still a privately owned board. So, yes, I think something is afoot, and we'll have to endure a bit of micromanaging until then. Except that's not even remotely why you would pay. Chances are you are going to end up buying players from higher end and established athletic families. You aren't raising the poor to match the rich. You're buying the next 5* athlete and patting yourselves on the back for altruism. This is why I hate NIL in the current state

We don't exactly have a large body of work to go off of. I didn't see any night/day difference between him and Stone. I kinda wish we'd stayed with him just to boost that confidence, but whatever. I'm already on this roller coaster, so whether it breaks down or not, gonna enjoy it while I can.

Do we even have a choice? I would love to field a team of our own players, guys loyal to the team. Sadly, that's not how it works anymore. And after watching SMU, Colorado, Tx State, etc... Everyone is going to go even more portal/NIL crazy. And, as has been said, if we lack the size and buy-in from the team... You don't have a lot of options but going scorched earth.
