  1. "...it's easy to go from 0-12 to six wins...but it's hard to keep doing it...to go from 13 wins to 12 again...it's unheard of..." Our Mean Green have taken those initial steps, consecutive winning seasons, great recruiting classes - here's to a great New Year and another winning season in 2019. Looking forward to watching the Mean Green reach the goals they've set when Coach came here a few years ago.

  2. I'll be the guy in the North Texas attire.
  3. Let's all meet at Boomer Jack's in Grapevine.
  4. Boomer Jack's in Grapevine is the place to be.
  5. Count me in. Couple of people on the board earlier were interested in a Grapevine area watching party.
  6. Any watching parties in the Grapevine Colleyville area? Games on ESPN right? Hooters?

  8. Ouch. That was a horrible offensive effort, too much pressure being allowed. These coaches need to pick up their effort, our go coach somewheres else. GMG
  9. What a great football player. What a heart. God Bless him. Go Mean Green
  10. Did you use the ESPN App feature? Still don't see it listed...
  11. I'm searching for it in ESPN3 but I don't see it listed...
  12. Have to be UTSA fans today and hand UAB a loss.
  13. Looks like we're getting back to form. 7-2. Still see videos on ESPN about the punt return for a touchdown at Arkansas. Last week ESPN had an article about which teams were still in contention for the playoffs...mentioned in the article that the Mean Green were eliminated in week eight...when was the last time North Texas was ever considered for anything like a New Year's Six possibility or the CFP? Great time to be a Mean Green fan. Great win on Homecoming. 7-2. Let's keep this momentum going... GMG
  14. Way too many sacks today...
  15. I love that tune from Animal House...

  16. "A two point loss to Louisiana Tech and the overall weakness of C-USA probably nix North Texas' chances for a New Year's Six bid, but the Mean Green remain worth monitoring." https://es.pn/2OZxfVE
  17. Bill Hancock, CFP executive director: "for the path, play a good schedule, win your games, and you're going to be in the hunt for the College Football Playoff". If we continue to win out (either in '18 or over a longer period of time) schedule (and beat) tougher teams, we should be in a good position. We should continue to schedule SEC and AAC teams (maybe even UCF) each season...we need to increase our S.O.S. GoMeanGreen
  18. The New Orleans Bowl win over Cincinnati in 2002 The Navy loss at Fouts in 2007 - one of the most highest scoring games in college football history
  19. Kemon wants to go on a hog hunt in Texas...how about a home-and-home at Apogee against Arkansas, do some hog hunting then. We should schedule Arkansas every season.
  20. https://es.pn/2xI36jg Kiffin: "that's what people don't understand...why Twitter...there's a plan...our out-of-state applications are up 45% within one year and the only thing that's changed is our football program". We gotta kick these guys in the teeth, tired of losing to FAU. Defense will step up this time, don't see why not based on our performance so far. Go Mean Green

  21. https://es.pn/2xsSEf9 ...four interceptions thrown by their starter, backup comes in and throws an interception, then the Jones boy throws another interception... What a great effort from our defense. Go Mean Green
  22. Sounds about right. Wonder how Booger Kennedy is doing these days?
  23. Monumental is right. Yessir! I read those Hogs can run the football some, so thers's the key to this one, Go Mean Green
