  1. Take notes, PAC leadership.
  2. UTSA folks noticed too
  3. Is it just me or did Sides run away from his blockers on that 3rd and 10 screen? He was trying to beat 1 guy to the edge but there were 2 defenders to 1 blocker where he ran to. Had he cut it in, he had 3 blockers to 1 defender...
  4. Some AAC games going on: Miami 22 - USF 15. USF and Navy - those two are looking tough. FAU 0 - UCONN 17 at the half. Tulsa 10 - LaTech 7 early in the 3rd. Other finished AAC games that aren't posted above: Utah State 29 - 45 Temple Houston Christian 7 - 45 UTSA Navy 56 - 44 Memphis
  5. Feel the same. That was a great response to the kick off return. We start the second half with the ball so we can extend the lead. Regarding the defense, yards and 1st downs allowed suck. Really suck. They have 10 points from offense. Season high is 14 I believe. Need to clamp down in the second half.
  6. I'm thinking Tech just took their foot off the gas too soon against ACU and they really missed their star RB against Washington State. They're looking better every week.
  7. I'm guessing this is the issue for AAC schools...
  8. Was about to post this. Boy is Navy good
  9. I noticed the same. It's a shame because they've had some good runs lately. Another AAC game going on is Temple vs Utah State. Utah State up 21-14 at the half.
  10. Maybe James Madison is also paying UNC? I don't know. 53-21 at the half after a pick 6. Other updates: Rice 7 - Army 30 (safety to start the second half) Tulane 24 - ULL 19 Guess I'll add Houston 0 - Cincinnati 31. Not a call for Cougar guy. Just a score I noticed.
  11. James Madison 46 - 21 North Carolina. James Madison just got a pick on North Carolina. The Dukes are up 46-21 with 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter at 3-0 UNC. Rice 0 - 28 Army at the half. Yikes. Tulane 17 - 10 Louisiana Lafayette. Haven't figured out Tulane yet. They've played well but seem to play to the level of their opponents.
  12. You got me. I'm in. The best cannon money can buy. That's for sure why they're going to the PAC.
  13. And this is bad why???
  14. What does UTSA bring?
  15. That's not what I asked though. If UTSA gets the nod, why would Texas State also get the nod? They seem to be lumped in together as both going. Makes no sense when they cover the same geographic area. So, if you need 4 schools and do Tulane, Memphis, UTSA, who's the fourth?
  16. Better facilities than who?
  17. You're not seeing the big picture. Whether we move or not, things will change. A lot of AAC schools close by? If UTSA, Tulane, and Memphis leave, who's left? Tulsa and Rice. Now how many AAC schools are close by? That's it. Two schools. So what are the options: join 3 of the close AAC schools in the PAC or stay with 2 of the close AAC schools in the AAC. My choice is easy. Seems we'll be left in the wind though. More visibility? I guess. Nobody is watching us as is. More money will allow us to keep developing the football program or maybe even start the baseball program to join an Oregon State baseball program who's made all but 3 NCAA tournaments since 2005.
  18. Sure but to say they won't be "in shape" to play this year is a stretch in my opinion. It's a long season with some bye weeks. Guess we'll see how things play out.
  19. I don't get the Texas State love if UTSA gets the nod. Why go after two schools basically in the same market? I can understand one or the other but both makes no sense for one conference if you're trying to expand your media footprint. Highly doubt they're both in play together.
  20. I do recall seeing a post suggesting something similar a few weeks ago. It's a good idea. Costs basically nothing and your target audience is right there.
  21. Good call. Missed that one.
