There is nothing on this planet I hate more than the invisible line between the P5 and G5, except maybe cats. Cats are pricks. If your "subdivision" has 10 conferences, the 10 conference champs should play it off to determine the national champ. Not rocket surgery. If that seems ridiculous, then the invisible line between P5 and G5 perhaps should become a real line and a new "subdivision" should be created where the G5 schools have our own national championship.

Gotta include the GIF: -
This^^!! They are already talking about the fact that SMU has yet to win in Denton. One guy was posting all of Vito's camp reports on their board too. Rivalries are born on the field over time. Just beat their ass.

An honest question for the Vito anti-Shanbour folks
Paulie Walnuts replied to Cr1028's topic in Mean Green Football
We're going to need them both. I think it will come down to decision making and avoiding mistakes more than all these physical nuances as to who the starter is. -
We should have a decent influx of depth here in the fall though with the JUCO kids. Everywhere except DT anyhow. English would be huge - but I'm assuming he won't be eligible.

MGB: Spring game five quick thoughts
Paulie Walnuts replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
He did say this - that knowing you won't get hit slightly changes the way a QB plays. But he also said he had a medical redshirt from a hit from Booger during a Spring game LOL. So there's that. -

I think I figured out what we are doing wrong with recruiting. Listen carefully to this video clip from an official visit tonight and see if you can figure it out:

Long Term Prospects For Football?
Paulie Walnuts replied to HarringtonFishSmeller's topic in Mean Green Football
You are basing your decision on whether or not to let your son play junior high football - on Junior Seau and Earl Campbell?? Do you have a guess as to what the odds are of your son having a long NFL career at this point would be - let alone the HOF career of two of the more physical guys that ever played? Hell, only 3-4% of high school players get the chance to play in college. -
I dont see anything Debiase clearly does better than Burns. I think Burns reads the defense better, thus getting rid of the ball more quickly and with better accuracy. I see Debiase hesitating and making plays on the run. I'll take Burns.

Im hoping his next move is to offer Nyc Burns. Isnt Harrell scheduled to throw with him this week? http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2560274/highlights/298157377/v2
