  1. Months, dammit. Don't take it away from me.
  2. Very cool exhibit. So the Foot-Ball team only had 11 total guys? Charlie Strong approves of their turtleneck game.
  3. You know how I keep going? Rick Villareal's contract is up in mere months. I know it's double digits still (probably), but stay with me. Months. Months. We can make it together.
  4. Ha. Funny article. If SMU gets a bid, then we should too seeing how we are about even on W-L the past 5 seasons. (SMU sucks)
  5. Obviously the money and exposure thing and more bowls (money) thing tops the list. But boy do I love having all these Texas teams to play.
  6. Marshall call. Said they want their unis back.
  7. Speaking of...my favorite uniform suggestion ever
  8. While I love the look, I'd like a new version that doesn't copy. This set needs it's place in UNT lore. Also...BLACK MATTE HELMETS Y'ALL The helmet stripe is awesome and is fitting
  9. Legislator admitted he just "wanted to make a point" and voluntarily tabled it before opening it up to the floor. Ridiculous (I'd link the articles but I'm le lazy).
  10. Oh I've watched his videos. Years ago. I'm talking about Morris 2016 and Shanbour 2016. Look I'm a Shanbour fan and I liked him better when he had AM5 1.0. But I feel more comfortable rolling out with AM5 2.0. To add, if Morris ever gets hurt, I would be comfortable with Shanbour and production wouldn't drop in terms of total team offense. The yards would just come by differently (run vs pass).
  11. But you also need a QB that can pass outside the hashes - including back shoulder passes, placement, be able to work up the pocket, and to consistently pass to RBs in the backfield. Based on other practices that I saw this Spring (which wasn't more than a handful), I feel like the Spring game looked like Morris' floor and Shanbour's ceiling. Morris has previously performed better, and Shanbour had done his best so far.
  12. In the grand scheme of things, we - as a team - shouldn't be in a position where losing a grad transfer hurts us. And at DT I really don't think we are hurt by this move. We won't win any more, or lose any more games because of his transfer. He's fulfilled his "student" part of student-athlete, which makes him eligible for transfer. If you don't think he's fulfilled the "athlete" part, well take it up with him and his old coaches. There is no imaginary principle in place here that he's violating. He's not a recruit who's been committed for 2 years, and then says, whoops never mind I'm going to this other similarly talented place. And even then, who gives af. We'll be fine.
  13. Jesus man, did he kick your dog or something? Congrats to him, and hope for the best for him in life. Go Mean Green. Be sure and let Alec Morris know how you feel.
  14. The awesome part about Prime is that you can stream a ton of music on top of movies and tv shows. The free 2-day shipping is REALLY nice, and you can make and share wishlists (how our family does gift shopping now). You can buy a digital movie from Amazon and stream it anywhere. If Netflix doesn't have it, you have to get the dvd service, or buy the movie elsewhere. But the movies/tv selection overlaps slightly with Netflix and is not as extensive. For us, Prime movies/tv shows are secondary to music, shipping, recurring purchases (diapers, wipes, dog treats), and wish lists. * Recurring purchases are stuff that gets automatically shipped to our house once a month, and we get 15% off cost for multiple recurring purchases. So Netflix is purely a giant - and good - selection of tv shows and movies that gets added to or cycled every month, and Prime is more of a lifestyle thing.
  15. In my case, I'm just interested in local tv networks. I can go to, let's say CBS' website, and get the last 3 episodes for free on their site, which is what Hulu provides. Maybe the last 5.
  16. Same regarding Hulu. Still on the fence about Sling. Currently have no cable. Just an air antenna, internet, Prime, and Netflix. If anyone has tried Sling, I am curious about reliability, experience.
  17. Ok. Sorry you weren't good enough or smart enough to get a degree from somewhere less embarrassing. But that's not on us. That's on you.
