  1. Aw I was hoping I'd read something about Legos.
  2. One hundo Double one hundo. Which ties into the following Board is clicking y'all.
  3. How much he want for it? Bout tree fiddy?
  4. Happened to run across this article. Just because I like closure, signs with Indiana. http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/high-school/high-schools/2016/04/21/final-stop-ex-plano-qb-richard-lagows-crazy-journey-may-big-ten-starter
  5. @Brett Vito is he the only one invited to a camp so far this offseason? Let's see since HOD, I can remember (including UDFA signings) Chancellor, Antonio Johnson, McKinney, DT, Akunne, Orr, maybe Andrew Powers. Anyone else? That's not enough. But hopefully this is just a dip, and with this new era, yadda yadda, we can recruit better, coach better, and send more guys to (at the very least) NFL minicamps and scout teams in the future.
  6. I expect to see an increase in our offense, so we'll be watching more fun games, but expecting Littrell to win more than 3 games this season is setting him up for failure. Yes we have a lot of the same folks coming back, but a lot of the same folks performed poorly. I would love for him to turn this ship around ASAP, but realistically we need to give him time. I would also love to be wrong.
  7. Being an optimist, I see us improving to maybe #110 in the country by season's end at worst. That's a huge swing, statistically. If Pedro makes my wildest dreams come true, we would be ranked 95.
  8. Let him learn, let him grow physically, let him grow mentally. Don't want to stunt his learning by throwing him out to the wolves. Morris and Shanbour can teach him the next two years. Unless he's a top 3-5 CUSA qb - basically a sensation that you just can't bench - I don't want to see him play till he's a RS Soph. That would be a good thing, fellas. Means we have a stable QB situation, we are being patient, and that we aren't desperate.
  9. It wouldn't be as terrible if we went and got smothered by Alabama, then came home with a million dollars and played competitively (win) against a Colorado or someone similar. Or hell, Indiana since they've been willing in the past.
  10. He doesn't have to run to escape pressure. That's the last resort. To add to what @GOMG2013 said, Morris moves in the pocket - laterally and vertically - very well. It's a legit play extender. This is a good point. While I don't want to overblow o-line concerns, what if we have trouble run blocking, or what if Wilson has problems recognizing gaps? Thinking out loud, is Wyche a fast enough guy to work the outside? In his recruiting thread, I mentioned Wyche as an inside guy when I thought his weight was 195 and we could push it to 200. I saw that his weight is closer to 180? Definitely changes my opinion, and would like to see him on outside plays.
  11. Have you SEEN Kaley Cuoco in skinny jeans?
  12. We need way more season ticket holders too
  13. Speaking for myself, it's not that I underestimate Tech. I just hate Tech. Obviously a Tech scholly holds way more weight than a North Texas scholly, but it could be possible to convince him to stay. My biggest selling point would be that early playing time and a 4 year career isn't out of the question here. (Though unfortunately for us, Tech has some oline concerns)
  14. Ok so $1.3 million from Mizzou, 2021 $1.25 million from A&M, 2020 What about the other schools on that list? ETA $900K from Iowa, 2017
  15. They suck now lol. Well, in SEC context.
  16. I mentioned in another thread, I am concerned our O-line isn't going to do us any favors this upcoming season. While the wide set should give the QB a tick longer to throw the ball, the QB may be facing a lot of pressure out there this fall. I think we'll see more swing passes to rbs.
  17. As far as the o-line, opposing defenses will lineup based on their technique (3 tech, 9 tech, etc), no matter how wide the o-line set is. So a 4 man front will look the same, just spread out. This also causes the LBs to spread, too. By blitzing up the middle, you can exploit the wide set o-line, but you also have to protect yourself (as a defense) against short/quick crosses which are potentially left wide open. The potentially "bad" part is if the o-line doesn't mesh, doesn't learn the proper technique in pass/run pro quickly enough, or they're just not consistent or good enough (personnel-wise) to run the wide set, then we'll have lots of problems. I am concerned about the o-line. I think we will see an uptick in sacks, and a decrease in yards per carry. But our RBs and H-backs I think will see lots of passes coming their way to overcome some of the possible deficiencies in the o-line this coming fall.
  18. Very raw, but man can you say "high point"?
  19. Have they offered? But I'd have Houston over Tech. Ah I see what you meant. Tech could edge us if playing close to civilization is not a concern for him (or the whole Big 12 thing, but whatever).
  20. I think the biggest threat could be Houston
