    @GMG24 has a valid point. Sure give North Texas a complete recruiting cycle - maybe two bc recruiting can be a 2 year deal - to evaluate what they can do. But if they're not in immediate contact with a local "powerhouse", then that is concerning. They need to be seen to have a shot at recruiting battles. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they have at least sent Allen HS a snapchat to see what's up, and that they'll make a showing during summer/fall workouts.

    Y'all. SMU won TWO &@$%(#@% games last year. They won ONE *(@%#$&%#( game the year before that. Since Apogee opened we have won either AS MANY *!%$@*%@#) games, or maybe one more. We have a BETTER home %. Attitude is half the battle, and SMU is winning that battle of "who's slightly less shitty".

    When they are comparing themselves to Alabama and Clemson I certainly will minimize what the coach is saying. Houston is a top 25 team, no question. They are not a playoff team yet. They have a successful model that UNT needs to jump on. I mean, something as simple as their as social media marketing would do wonders for us.

    Dat strength of schedule doe. I respect what Houston does, but their 2015 foes' regular season records: 63-86 (19-29 OOC) They had around a top 40-50 ranked easiest schedule, while 'Bama had the #1 hardest. All 4 playoff teams had decidedly harder schedules. Heck, SMU had a harder schedule. While they had good victories over P5s, they need to start shedding the FCS games, get their SOS rank higher for a G5 chance at a playoff.

    Most impactful statement you've made lately. And it echoes Tim MacMahon's public sentiments. It's not that a minute few are angry, it's that there are a minute few followers of the program period. So that makes the angry fans an even smaller proportion. It's a numbers game. And the numbers are small.

    Hope the weather holds. Anyone else going to the Fairgrounds? It's kind of an inconvenience in theory, but I'll at least try it out. Wouldn't mind my energetic 3 year old being a 3 year old somewhere other than in the house for an evening.
