I think we are well past that.

I get it. And I think it's a good takeaway that the department has a long way to go with how it brands, markets, and incentivizes (sp?) being a booster. The next guy or gal has a lot of work ahead of them (in this specific regard).
-
Do you lose your points? I've seen this done a handful of times, but I think it's a good idea. To counter the "it decreases the value of the ticket" argument, no one is buying tickets anyway. So it's a good way to 1. fill seats out and more importantly 2. indoctrinate. Market your brand. A brand that has hit rock bottom.
-
FYI president@unt.edu goes straight to URCM. Not intercepted. I won't argue the careless part, though.
-
On game days, walking up and buying tickets is a breeze over by the Victory Circle entrance (Gate 04). Also, John Williams offers up decent packages every year, including beer.
-
hahaha you guys are making this way more complicated. Guy just probably wants to sit down and air out the set of grievances that we also have had on this board. Not some secret conspiracy where the President himself is looking at the list of RTs and Favs this gets and writing your name down in some blacklist. All of us are probably already on somebody's blacklist, anyway.

Stephen Dieb, Highland Park RB and District MVP
Aldo replied to UNTLifer's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Nice pick up. I'm sure his wrestling training has helped with his great balance and lateral agility. Not a home run threat, but has got that wiggle to potentially make some plays underneath. Dat lower body strength doe -
Boosting bottom feeders a priority for C-USA

That was my joke. By removing LT, USM, and Marshall you're left with the Sun Belt. -
Ah thanks

Anyone reading from the AD, ahem, make it so? Also if we finish out the bowl, it would really screw up the eagle in a nest look from outer space. Do we really want to ruin that? (in case anyone is wondering, yes sarcasm). But for real, expand the student section before, uh, touching that tail. But we're, getting WAY ahead of ourselves.
-
I am not sure this is entirely correct. Eg, I think we are at 5, and USM is at 8, Marshall at 11, etc. Unless there's a * about this list Kudos to FIU, though. 7 home games, two big 10 teams.

I spent 2013 in the wing. It got pretty crazy And it really isn't all that bad. Get to yell as the opposing team approaches the endzone, or get high fives from the good guys after a TD.

While he did throw a bad pick, I won't call him clueless. In practices and the spring game, he looked like the most improved player from last year. (I still want to see him as an inside receiver, tho). He did a decent enough job on this read.

Over about two year span, we'll have fired the AD, the FB coach, the WBB coach, and possibly the MBB coach. Anyone else? I finally feel like we are moving forward, at least in the sense of accountability. While this thread was originally for the "I'll donate when he gets fired" folks, we do need anyone and everyone to become new members or come back. Some it will take a FB coach firing. Others it will take an AD firing. Others it will take a new AD. Others it will take all of the above and then winning. We're not Ash and we can't catch 'em all, but we (as in, we the school, not we the fans) have got to stop alienating, and move into the 21st century in bringing in folks. Worst FBS program in the state in terms of donors and fundraising is unacceptable.

New QB Quinn Shanbour showing up on workout reports
Aldo replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
So far, y'all have gotten the argument down to (as to why they are on equal footing) Morris didn't start at 'Bama and Shanbour deserves it -
I feel like I'm watching Matlock

I think he misses the sun belt -
He was a 3 star TE in high school.

O'Hara is nowhere near Morris or Shanbour.

New QB Quinn Shanbour showing up on workout reports
Aldo replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
*with an Alabama scholarship. I know everyone's going to be talking around each other. Reality is, no one freaking knows how this will play out in the Fall. Maybe Morris is the next UNT savior. Maybe Shanbour is the next Flutie. Maybe they're both average (this is the situation I would hope for) Maybe they both suck. We don't know. Truth is, we needed to bring in someone fast because the staff didn't have time to develop someone (so not a 4 or 5 star HS QB) when they realized that the best QB they had on the roster was a WALK-ON. -
Only if Linda Cardellini shows up.
