Yeah, I know I did. But I absolutely LOVED storming the field after Indiana, and the players enjoyed hanging out with family and fans.

We don't need to go to extremes for home games. FCS? Sure whatever, but no one cares. Easy win/motivator, in theory. SEC school? Sure whatever, but it's not happening. How about a happy medium? SMU is ok, but I would prefer a low tier P5 over a low tier G5. Iowa State? Colorado? Indiana? A 1 and 1 seems reasonable (I know we've done that w Indiana, so it can be done). Now that sounds more like an opportunity game. And it's many opportunities over several years, not the same team over and over again that only has marginal interest in one market (that's SMU if I lost you). We always remember the time we beat Baylor at home, even though our record is now 1-12. We always remember the time we almost beat Kansas State. No one gives a crap when we beat, uh, all those FCS teams.

I think we can beat Army (I'll agree to 2-2, too). And I think Rice can be had. Gasp! Two road games that I think we can could win? The balls on this guy...

Both schools suck, but UNT is currently in the middle of a huge (and I do mean huge) rebuild. SMU is in it's second year in it's system. I hope that both teams score at least 40 points. 20-something by either team will be a snooze fest. (Also, 40 points scored by us would be a huge swing in offensive output, so there's that).

Jesus people. Bucee's is basically a clean (by a wide margin) Love's or Flying J or _____ without truckers and showers. There's no "fascination". Sweet! Make it so. This is my fascination with it. I'd rather stop at a Buc-ee's than a grungy old Shell bathroom that I have to walk outside the building with a key attached to a wooden block. If I'm going to Austin or Houston I try to plan my stops around these.

While I got pretty damn good seats to the SMU game, I was sold a HOD ticket where the band sat, so had to move. But whatever. Time to move forward Interesting. I can see Boys and Girls Club, or Boy/Girl scouts getting bulk tickets. But what about like, Geography/Math club or some school-sponsored or school-affiliated organization?
