  1. Tell that to San Diego State. Went on a 10-week win streak. 11-3 and beat Cincy in Hawaii Bowl 42-7. ETA: MWC Champs.
  2. whoops didn't see the word "new" in your comment. If I showed up to a dysfunctional org that needed an overhaul, and someone slapped down a report detailing what's working, what's not, what's been goings on, I'd be much appreciative.
  3. Went to ESPN's preseason FPI list for all 128 schools, copied into Excel, did a pivot table. Voila. Hopefully the formatting stays. Ordered by average rank of school by conference. 4. The three out of small dots I believe is a meter showing the percentage/quantity or some amount of services used to come up with the index. The more"full" the meter, the more complete the list of services used to come up with the composite. If you look at a list of prospects, it's red instead of yellow: Just a cursory glance around shows that the number of bars (or pips iyam) does not typically correlate with rating
  5. I am not trying to be a negative guy here but we're not beating MTSU. Sorry. We could surprise at WKU with a high scoring game.
  6. Not sure where you're going with it, but that's why the consultants are here in the first place.
  7. Now an attack on US/British base in Syria (that was evacuated beforehand). http://www.military.com/daily-news/2016/07/22/russian-warplanes-reportedly-bombed-us-base-in-syria.html
  8. And he's had some good ($$) trainers. He needs to work on his fade throws, but his stuff over the middle is accurate, and his placement of throws is good. His check down is the best out of him and Shanbour. I say that both humorously and sadly. We will be using the swing/wheel route pass frequently, and Shanbour has some work to do in that department.
  9. I have never seen said pass, if it's any consolation. Our conversation didn't start about how well Morris will perform, it's about where in the talent range Morris falls between Driskell & Ebert and AM05 version beta. And according to the years of tape that has accumulated where you can see his throwing mechanics, ball placement, types of throws, his physical presence/natural size, he falls in the middle. Like you said, it's a wide safe margin, but he's better than McNulty.
  10. No I'm telling you he's better than McNulty and not as good as Driskel.
  11. It's not hard to find years of Alabama workouts, spring games in addition to what we have seen during his short time on campus. I'm talking about mechanics and talent, not in game experience. No idea how he will handle a real game or how his talents translate on the field, but we can at least prognosticate based on what we see. He is not as talented as Driskel, and he has way more natural and physical gifts than McNulty ever did. Heck, McNulty looked indecisive and inefficient during spring practices last offseason. It's reasonable to want to be cautious over the QB position at a place like UNT, but it is easy to see how the historically poor 2015 QB play and depth is elevated with Morris and a healthy Shanbour.
  12. your GIFs are not working right
  13. He's certainly not Driskel. He's certainly not McNulty. All we need is an avg CUSA level QB around here, and it will make things more interesting.
  14. Exactly, it's not like they just show up and take a general look. This is where I think the consultants will see how the employees interact with each other, management styles, communication, accountability, etc. They then make recs, but in the end it depends on the willingness of management - whether new or old - to make the change. They make very detailed observations on the day to day environment and fit of the employees.
  15. Makes sense. Don't want to add more competition in recruiting.
  16. That QB would've been passing it to Marcus Smith, Tee Goree, and Smiley/Kidsy.
  17. It'd be fun to have Texas State (say what y'all will) Not a lateral move to CUSA. Money money money.
  18. We were all on the square.
  19. Offense is definitely going to mask some of our deficiencies, and make watching a little more fun. Agree about Cade Pearson. Might make some noise in a few years.
  20. An overlooked, UNT-friendly bar is Hickory Street Lounge. It's pretty fun, and they love their sports. It's nestled between Rusty Taco and Hoochie's. Good cocktails and the owner has good Cheer's atmosphere going. It's typically an older crowd. There's always a pool going with someone, whether for NCAA bracket, football, baseball, horse racing, etc. For food Tex Tapas has some great food, but not sure how UNT-oriented they are. It's over between Dan's and Rooster's.
  21. Should rename the game PokemonGO Get a Better Developer.
  22. Too many people on the alumni side
  23. ^ fyi I bought the one at Academy, twice, broke each time during unpacking. Logo brand. (Got it returned each time no problem tho)
