When you pull into the main lot (the first left into Apogee if you're coming from Bonnie Brae/Airport Rd), don't park in Athletics parking but make an immediate left and park in any of the spots by the stadium entrance. Haven't had to pay for parking in the past for scrimmages.

It's probably a little bit more nuanced than lack of effort. It's a patchwork (and cheap) solution to quickly make up for previous lack of effort while an actual campaign is being developed. Any publicity is publicity that wasn't there before.
