  1. The bus runs on gamedays on victory circle in front of the ticket booth? Agree, and that would be the only reason to have it. Don't think anyone would use it to draw bigger crowds, but just to say "we have this and it's cool".
  2. Victory circle would be my vote. Not on the grass, right in front of the student entrance and MG Gameday set up. Are you for real? For one, the food trucks would pay to play. Also, how are concessions not losing revenue from people tailgating and eating balls, burgers, and brats? I eat when I tailgate, I eat when I'm in the game.
  3. haha what is that spin move?
  4. Meh. I still won't read the DMN. I get my news the old fashioned way: older relatives on facebook.
  5. Can you be more specific other than the IPF progress and their salary?
  6. I wanna see some solid defensive pickups.
  7. Yeah the playbook was limited, so we didn't see much variety. You could call the play from the stands just from the alignment, so I figure MTSU and Army had plenty of reads.
  8. They *do* move with surgical precision
  9. In a typical Air Raid offense, you're looking at 25-30% of your completions going to the backfield. We're right on par with that. What routes from the backfield does is spread the defense horizontally. You've got a route coming from the backfield (and I don't mean specifically swing passes) from your RB or your H-Back like Kelvin Smith or Chumley. A crosser from the opposite side of the field, and a sideline/corner route. Got yourself a triangle concept. So hit a big route with Wilson in the flat/wheel route/whatever. Defense adjusts. Hit a big route with a crosser or down the sideline. So essentially the defense has sidewinders comin at them from every direction, and they'll just have to pick their battles as we pick them apart.
  10. Generally, running beyond the line of scrimmage.
  11. My taek for the top 3 WRs to combine for over 1,800 yards is pretty aggressive, imo. The ball's gonna get spread about.
  12. I think it's not unreasonable to think one of those dudes hits 800 (Smiley) yards, someone hits 600 (Bussey), and the other hits 400-600 (Guyton). That's my hot taek.
  13. I'm going to go with Turner Smiley. I've been down on him, but I think he has a Darnell Smith type season.
  14. Literally the Sweetest Band in the Land
  15. I see what you were saying now. The NCAA isn't a governmental organization, so they can make whatever policy it wants, no? I think it was mentioned previously.
  16. That's actually a genius business idea. A consulting firm that trains about ethics and integrity.
  17. Our second down defense is amazing. But for real though, our DBs are good.
  18. Nope that wasn't my point. That statement is distancing oneself from the crux of the problem. People have asked to stop being called that, both directly to the team, and to some of society. This has nothing to do with liking the team. So why not stop after being asked by the group? What is there to address in your unarguable statement? This has nothing to do with feelings police or being a weak cupcake. There is no PC involved. My point is one and only one: if someone asks you to stop calling them something, stop calling them something. Or referring them by something, which is what your argument is based on.
  19. Don't mean to pile on, just saw the subsequent responses while I was taking snips. It's easy to miss when he drops it down to his hip pocket, and it shouldn't affect his accuracy, which is already good (and likely an improvement in our depth chart). It'll improve his release time though. I've attached a slow mo gif. Hopefully it works. Watch him lower the ball to his stomach area before pulling back to throw. That's his natural motion. Definitely fixable.
  20. I think you are manufacturing an argument that justifies calling a group (which consists of individuals) whatever you want, even after that group (that consists of individuals) has asked you to stop. This isn't about being politically correct. Someone has asked you to stop calling them something. Be a decent person and stop calling them that something. This shouldn't be difficult.
  21. Someone asks you to stop calling them something, what do *you* do? I'm sure they'd (the school) also face a public backlash.
  22. Semantics with "targeted". The group a word is being aimed at. Whatever. That's not the point. Who gives a crap how many people, or majority or this or that. One person tells you to stop calling them something. Do you stop calling them that? And explain to me what the agenda is about not wanting to be called "Redskin"?
  23. But when a group of people who is being targeted by that name asks you not to do that, why would you keep calling them that?
