Uh we hired him. It's only been like a year and a half and the jury is still out. Who's going to come around with a million dollar contract to take him away from here after a 5-7 season? This is a point that isn't a positive *or* a negative.

Based on past couple spring games Shanbour is faster/quicker than Fine.

Awesomesauce. Our line was in shambles, and the offense won't go anywhere without a viable o-line. The rebuild was necessary to increase talent and depth when you're planning way more than 70 plays per game. Cast a wide net, if you will.

popcorn dot gif Among four year starters in the last 10 seasons, Fine's stats were nearly average among freshmen QBs. Not a bad start, and he's historically got a good shot - at minimum - maintaining average. If he makes a jump from one year to the next, well that's gravy. In other words, Pearson and Shanbour have to perform better than average to beat him out. Are they?

My guess is that they're banking on the athleticism and they have more tape than we do. Has got good vision, and at his size it makes sense. I'd like to see him as a Y receiver, tbh.
