  1. Good job good effort.
  2. UNT - 20 Iowa - 41
  3. Correct. 493 yards is what we gained vs SMU
  4. Aw crap only 900K? I guess I need to go back and return some of this stuff...
  5. If there's any masonry involved, it looks like paver stones to me. I think Lowe's has that exact same pattern and color.
  6. Are those...tire tracks? Not sure that's the image I'd like my team to convey.
  7. lol we're arguing how badly we will or won't get beaten. Did the check clear for NDSU? We've got some new facilities we need to pay for.

  9. Firstly, I want the run offense to get one single yard in order to avoid having to have this entire conversation. Whether it be out of shotgun or a qb dive under center. The inside zone was a disaster. Nic Smith likely made the best run inside for 4 yards. If inside zone isn't working because the o-line is getting beat so badly, why continue to run inside zone? You can't switch a wide split line, shotgun/pistol team to suddenly go under center. How many reps under center will you allow at practice for a play you may not even run? I doubt they ever practice under center snaps. Fine is sitting close to 70% completion because they're giving him high percentage plays. I'm comfortable with high percentage plays. Wilson had nowhere to go inside. If they continued to attack the inside with 0 success, who would that remind you of?
  10. When running from the shotgun up the middle doesn't work, you run outside the tackles, switch to the screen game, the short passing game, and sprinkle some wheel routes. And I am specifically speaking air raid here.
  11. The distance to the line of scrimmage is meaningless if you can't get to, or beyond the line of scrimmage.
  12. Sure. Spread teams and power spread. If this offensive line can't create a yard for Wilson up the middle in the shotgun, it's not going to create in under center. The O-line needs to improve. They're not getting much push. Also, the wide offensive line splits are not designed for this. They'd get devoured.
  13. Not in this offense. Not gonna happen y'all. Sorry bout your luck. Pistol is as close as we're gonna get to under center. And to point to it as an issue is not understanding how this offense works. The team has bigger issues facing it than taking one snap under center in short yardage situations. Or maybe the issue is, in fact, smaller.
  14. Stanley was overthrowing WRs here and there, and receivers were having to make acrobatic catches on those TDs. Aside from Wadley, we're going to have to keep Iowa's TEs in check, and not bite hard on the PA.
  15. I think that version is called Grown Ass Men Can't Deal. Not as catchy with Pumbaa in the lead role.
  16. Couple of things here. Depending on your air raid style, you can either have a short-to-deep or deep-to-short system. Looks like we go short-to-deep. Air raid is about giving it to your playmakers in space (behind the sticks) and letting them create an explosive play. That is exactly what happened. It's what we did last year, too, except we've probably had more explosive plays these past two weeks than we did all last season. Many catches were caught behind the sticks, and developed into long gains. Didn't that happen on the very first play of the game? That part of the process isn't the problem.

What an odd bird. Tweets directly at all the recruits.
  18. It's obvious you've been a part for a lot longer. So did you get banned on your original account or did you just forget your password when you decided to be upset about all the things?
  19. Say it louder for the people in the back. The offense didn't move last year even when in garbage time. The offense moved last night. In CUSA play, we will be ok. 1-1 after two games. Ten games to go in the regular season.
  20. Here's a bright spot: We contained Sutton for 59 minutes for 4 catches and 22 yards.
  21. Where else would you run the reverse on a KR? It's not the play call that was bad, it was the execution. Missed assignment.
  22. Someone missed their block and it blew up the play. Otherwise it would have been a good gainer. Man page 1 vs page 16.
  23. Or on the flip side, ISU just exposed a whole bunch of mismatches to take advantage of.
