  1. lol y'all. Vito is always pretty good at respecting recruits' wishes. I'm sure there was just a miscue.
  2. I guess he's a real good run blocker? I kid I kid LT actually passes quite a bit, but only sustains 1 stud. Sucks.
  3. This is an interesting chicken/egg question. For the 3-3-5 to work, we need a stud NT and ILB. We don't have that. But shouldn't Reffett be trying to fix those issues? Reff's defense will work for us the way the air raid works for us, but it's still missing the pieces. We have got to bring in the right players to make it work, and the grace period for Reff is pretty much about to be up.
  4. Air raid! I believe Littrell replaced Dykes as Arizona OC after Dykes left for La Tech.
  5. The info I could find quickly
  6. Eh McDonald was slow (a safety turned LB), Ejiya has a difficult time in space, and with running QBs, and Garner idk. We are extremely lacking still at that position as many pointed out it was a weakness last offseason. We'll likely see many new faces in the two deep next season.
  7. I want all the recruits
  8. I'm not gonna pretend I read anything but Sagarin has NT sos at 101 and Troy at 135. But that won't explain crap. Advanced metrics have us matched pretty evenly giving us nearly a 50/50 shot. Troy is favored, but only slightly. Rush offenses are even. Troy better defenses. NT better pass offense.
  9. And it blows my mind. Our W-L has been practically even since the mid 90s. SMU is both bad AND boujee
  10. Meh I mean you only got one thing right so far on your list. And even then, everyone knew it'd happen eventually. Morris has been a hot name for a while, even how average SMU has been in its own conference during his own tenure (14-22 overall). And Arkansas hiring Morris is direct proof that it's just his marketability. He ain't done squat at SMU and much to the shegrin of my Razorback fam, he won't do squat at Arkansas.
  11. Awesomeness in a jar.
  12. Him lined up as an inside receiver would be awesome.
  13. Vito's point is this: Littrell is good. Soon everyone will want him. But there's no way he's going to SMU. While the 247 report has no basis and is just playing a guessing game and Vito is just passing that along in his own post, he's right you know. Get used to seeing Littrell's name everywhere. That's a good thing. Remember all those times Dodge or Mac's name came up?
  14. @Marty got that third eye! I had a hot taek about 1,800 yards receiving for top 3 players... ...They hit over 2,000. Bless you 8lb 6oz baby football Jesus. What a season.
  15. How'd everyone do? I selected Smiley as my breakout. Started off slow but picked up. I'd say I got a B- after a curve. https://www.ntsportsstats.com/stats/Fball/CurrentSeasonStats.php
  16. I honestly don't have an issue going after each other and trash talking, but I take it one week at time. Let's break the Trojans and make em go to their gameplan b.
  17. I mean what kind of answer do you expect? Do you like moldy cheese or unexpired cheese? What kind of hypothetical is it to say would you prefer this what was given or something better? But back to your point, if the recruit isn't looking at the big picture then we're doing a terrible job recruiting.
  18. @Ben Gooding is on the case. Whip em into shape.
  19. Smash concept! And then... ...put Kelvin Smith inside the Smash and have him run a divide route. The other side of the field can do whatever tf they want. Take the bowl check and go home. *dusts hands off*
  20. Morris has struggled to compete through how many seasons in the AAC?
  21. Having only been in CUSA for a handful of seasons *most* fans know who Troy is. I don't judge you for not knowing who they are, and I only call on you because you keep making sweeping statements. Troy is propping us up in terms of the national cfb landscape in this matchup OBVIOUSLY P5 > G5 but we don't have that kind of sway. And to expect that after our second winning season in a decade is honorable but premature. Troy is going to garner attention, but we need to worry about North Texas garnering North Texas attention first instead of relying on other teams. This should be a well attended, well viewed matchup. Now you know where Troy is. Now's the time to worry about beating Troy.
  22. North Texas was given this opportunity twice in the last 5 seasons and they showed up.
