Our MiL joins us for games frequently so I buy tickets for her at the gate. Super easy. Unless you are worried about a sell out, buying at the gate is probably the least stressful thing. This game is $20 on meangreensports.com, which I think is more on the premium end (and cheaper than ticketmaster atm). Typically I see games $12-16 iirc. I'd assume you'd probably save on fees at the gate, but I don't remember.

Wait Dallas has to pay ESPN $300K? Call me naive, but from a financial standpoint, do they even make their money back? What does Dallas have to gain for a mediocre slot on a mediocre day at a mediocre venue? If HOD could garner a better matchup then it would make sense.

The NCAA is a non-profit, right? Tax free? (honest questions). And the president makes $1 million?
-
Exactly. Why isn't the NCAA giving back to the student athletes that (in places like North Texas) donors, students are picking up a big chunk of their tab.

Student athletes helped the NCAA to bring in $1 Billion

DRC: UNT enters fall practice with burning desire to improve

That burning may be from the sefless tough disciplined. #sorrynotsorry just now catching up on threads -
I'm thinking Wilson's abilities came with Tashard Choice's coaching. Hoping that Smith is as good a student.

I dig it. I liked it with the black pants until what happened to us in that combo.

The Wrecker? What is it wrecking? The opposing team? My gut? The bathrooms? Or is it a more subtle attempt by Wren "The Wrecker" Baker to put his name on it? Either way I'll take 2.

App State and Troy and Army are all replacing their QBs. That's lofty expectations. App State and Troy defenses are pretty decent though. Still, higher than a team like SDSU? But kinda shows how volatile G5 can be imo

That recruiter needs a giant raise. Congrats!

Look I'm not making excuses for Dickey. He should have won slightly more of the non-money OOC games. What I don't expect is to win multiple money games per season when only being reintroduced to D-I for a few years. We got paid by these ranked teams to lose. I feel like we've grown up a little since then, and so I'm looking forward to playing teams like Memphis to beat them and Cal to beat them. Dickey got dealt a crap hand, which he did what he could, and maybe he did it wrong or did it right, but we were where we deserved to be given the circumstances of the program and the support from the administration. I want to be more than somewhat competitive and beat up on teams and also bring in our own money. I feel like we finally have an administration and infrastructure in place that has the ability to do it better in order for us to be "somewhat competitive" against the money games that are already on the schedule per the previous admin. That's the past and whether it's the 80s game against Texas that got stole, or Dickey hurt someone's feelings, we're crawling out of a hole that someone else dug, and they hid the shovel.

^ Good question. Also in IT, that's where they test out all the security protocols first -
