  1. uggghhh what a beating this is. I was involved in a small part for UNT HSC recently, and boy I don't want to be an administrator or chair in the future.
  2. First couple things Google picks up. follow him on the twitter if you're on it. http://www.mlssoccer.com/author/scott-sidway http://www.kntu.com/author/ssidway/
  3. Austin Grammer Haley Joel Osment
  4. That's a factual statement, but it doesn't mean he could have fared any better this year. In fact, DaMarcus Smith scores more on a per-game basis (WKU and on) than DT did in 2013 (rushing TDs + pass TDs per game). I mean it's a measly difference, and it don't matter. Either performance wouldn't matter in a season like we've had. 2014? I'll concede a 2014 where we assumed we could replace average stats with the talent brought in. Not 2015. 2015 is historic, and is a culmination of many things that have happened (or not happened) the past 5 seasons.
  5. Asking for an average QB is more a comment/dig on DT's limited ability and our lackluster recruiting, rather than being able to win games. DT would not be able to surmount our per-game deficits this season. Like you said, we should have done way better in QB recruiting and development than we have, especially after a bowl win. And to take to take a rhetorical page out of @UNT90's book of spin, shouldn't we want better than just average?
  6. You know, his negativity is annoying, but for the sake of UNT, I want to see him on an nfl team
  7. I'll play (tho leave my nuts alone). And I'm assuming the hypothetical is the 2013 version of DT. And let's keep the defense and special teams out of it. I would LOVE to have an average CUSA-level QB.
  8. Kid's got a little speed. Good lord they're all bombs on this video, which is nice, but what's his short to intermediate game like? Seems to chuck all his throws with as much force as possible, and his motion's a little weird at times (or is that just me?). Side arms a lot, or 3/4 throws. Nice upper body strength. Relaxed in the pocket, sneaky on the run. Nice, raw talent. Needs some good coaching and development, so there's also that.
  9. O rly? Too lasseiz faire for me.
  10. Whoops you're out of positive coaching hire rebuttals.
  11. Yeah I don't want him doing read option here, but his size is great. Strong arm, but still learning how to use it. I feel like he is also a baseball player. Needs to work on his feet during throws. Spreads them too far apart, leading to accuracy issues downfield (receivers bailing him out on downfield 50/50 throws). Worries about the pocket too much. Waits on it to collapse or hold sometimes before making a move. But I love his short to intermediate game. He's got touch on the short passes, so he isn't throwing fast balls when he doesn't have to. Accurate in this range too. Definitely a like for me.
  12. Brett does UNT write ups for them

  15. This will be fresh in students' minds when they *hear* about our loss to Tennessee.

  20. Took me a while to figure it out, but just insert like you would an image
  21. Um, what else do they have to go on the past decade? We just have to hope more people within the NT community cares enough to affect change over the next decade.
  22. Great that Tre is making his mark. Hopefully this means less touches for Wilson in the return game. Give me Tre and Dre and I'll be happy.
  23. Disappointing it isn't going near the square. It's where it makes the most sense. Between Bell and Oakland, McKinney and Oak (across the street from OSDH). As far as the north Rayzor Ranch area goes, it's a hopping place. Always full of people as there is food, grocery stores, and shopping (Academy, guitar center, Ross, kohls, a pet store, yadda yadda). Also there is a ton of population bounded between 35 and Carroll, and 380 and hickory that use this shopping. Oh yeah Robson Ranch folks. Lot of homes are going in west of 35 and south of the loop. By 2025, they're expecting to expand the north part of 288 farther west. So there's demand. On the south Rayzor Ranch side they've parceled out chunks of land for the town homes, there will be a Cook's children, a theatre and whatever department store pulls out next. Every once in a while they move some dirt around, so progress? Maybe they're just putting off building the convention center, with the excuse that Rayzor Ranch isn't get built on the south side. MAYBE it's a diabolical plan by Golden Triangle Mall to keep themselves afloat. Genius...
