  1. Way better than my suggestion. Nice recruiting list. http://247sports.com/Coach/Mark-Hagen-405/AllTimeRecruits
  2. Did a little more research. Ixnay on the allory-May.
  3. superlative But the defense was poor. To shift myself back on topic and less trolly, anybody have an opinion on Doug Mallory? Couldn't find a mention of him. Runs the 4-3, decent experience. Former DC at Indiana while Littrell was there. Currently LB coach for the Falcons.
  4. yeah that's what this hire has written all over it
  5. bahaha I don't think I've ever seen unt90 gain this much notoriety over a comment. Figured it was funny since it's assumed he's not coming back after fielding the worst UNT defense ever (only one way to go?). Guess it was too soon. In the words of Mr. The Cable Guy, Lord I apologize. Still funny tho.
  6. that's what I said...
  7. if only Baylor had followed suit
  8. oooooOOOOOoooooh
  9. I'm more comfortable with an experiment at OC than one at HC. Particularly bc said HC has a long track record of success with his offense, and said OC has long experience playing in, and working with said offense.
  10. now we're talking
  11. Bold 2016 prediction: Cosh stays and defense improves
  12. anyone have the century team roster handy? Might help guide.
  13. Gah another thread! Can we merge please?
  14. Good golly it's hard keeping up with all these multiple threads. Read the scout article and it made me feel a little better about this hire. Just come in, install Littrell's system, and teach this offense. Look good, get hired away, and I'll call this a success.
  15. He broke my heart many years ago. That's who.
  16. Why are you taking that phrasing and running with it? Only one person said it. Chill. Everyone, Graham Harrell is not a great offensive mind. My opinion is that he's learning the ropes under some big names. He's running Littrell's offense.
  17. I do share your concern of a positional coach becoming a first time OC. What I see is, Littrell is confident that Harrell is able to run Littrell's system.
  18. If Harrell can work with our WRs and improve their game, or with the QBs, I'm game.
  19. So it's not just my daughter that tries to rip my face off
  20. Who was the QB coach?
  21. UAB also got a ton of publicity with that fiasco
  22. Not great but not terrible in terms of exciting schedules. I would love to host Marshall. So at home we will see SMUBethune CookmanMarshallMTSUSouthern MissLa Tech?
  23. I'm real interested what we do at slot. Shane Wynn and Ryan Switzer fared well in Littrell systems.
  24. That'd be, what, an 18 game season if you include a conference championship, and make a bowl game part of the first round of playoffs? That would include only about 2 independents and 2 G5s, if you go by rank. If the G5s want in, they need to make their own playoff system, and they better get some exciting teams in there. 8-12 teams? Edit: Oh and Div III has a 9 game season. So a 14 game season for the champion, if my math is correct. So that seems reasonable.
